And it doesn’t end there. While pizza is at the core of our menu, our pasta, sandwiches, and even our tacos are just as unforgettable. Albano’s has been in …

We ordered from the Johnson road location for delivery and our food was awful our pizza was barley cooked cheese wasn’t even all the way melted. We ordered the Italian beef also and it was awful the meat must have been old because it was dried out and it crumbled into tiny pieces I don’t know what happened but they totally missed the ball on this one…you can see from the photos how dry/old the meat looks on the Italian beef..

I grew up eating albino’s Pizza Friday nights and it was in Michigan City only. It’s nice to have a Laporte location though, still just as good.

Well, we gave you another try but we won’t be fooled anymore! Mr Albano’s relative was the WRONG person to leave his legacy too! No training to these youngins so they understand that you have to DRAIN the hamburger BEFORE it goes onto a taco pizza! Also tomatoes are to be scattered around the pizza, not piled in the center! For the second time, very disappointing. Also ordered a taco pizza at the Franklin street place and it was awesome. Ordered again about three weeks later and it was the same greasy mess that this one is! One out of four is a pretty bad score. Wake up and get your old way of building a pizza back if you expect us to continue to support your efforts.
Try sitting at the end of the pizza oven and watch them as they come out and if your grandma won’t eat it, start over!
Sorry, we won’t be back. Picture following this post! #1 was the first screw up that was from Michigan City, #2 was the last screw up tonight from Johnson Rd!

I got the veggie pizza there were no peppers on it. It only had mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes on it. When I called to tell them that they forgot to put peppers on my pizza. The manager got on the phone and told me that she made the pizza herself and she knew there were peppers on it. Very rude.
She told me if I brought it back she would make me a new one. It was 8 o’clock at night and a -10°. There was no way I was going back out. She told me there was no other option. I had to bring the pizza back in. I will never go back.

To be honest, this review may be biased… I was born in Michigan City in 1959 and grew up eating Albano’s Pizza as a treat, and a treat it still is! I have lived in Florida for 41 years now, and still go to Albano’s EVERY time I visit the area! So please, pay no attention to this review! It is completely one sided… God Bless the Albano’s Pizza Family!

It’s a little bit pricier than other pizza places, but the food quality is so much better. I’ve been going to albano’s for over 40 years and it’s very good.

The Albano’s pizza on Johnson has never been as good as downtown. This last visit will be my last time. The crust was dry with no flavor. We actually threw some of the pizza out it was so bad. When I pay $25 for a large pizza I expect quality. Little Caesars 3 meat pizza for $8.99 puts Albano’s to shame. I’m sorry to see this happen.

I wanted a real pizza, not a “fast food” one. This place did it exceptionally well. I enjoyed the pizza. Now i didnt go all out crazy just got a sausage pizza but it was great. The sauce was perfect for me.
