The building itself is already super cool and retro, but walking inside transports you directly into Mexican heritage. The food is fantastic, which alone deserves the high rating that this restaurant boasts. The atmosphere and good quality service wrap up the package. Complimentary chips and flavorful salsa with competitive pricing and generous portion sizes! What’s not to love?

Decided to stop in Worthington, MN for dinner. We landed on Thompson Mexican Grill. Excellent food, big portions, huge variety of food. Excellent service. Dessert was delicious! Highly recommend.

Great place to enjoy the evening. Beautiful building with a great relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing and plentiful as well as the service. You can’t go wrong giving this place a try, it is an adventure in and of itself!

I had the Burrito California with roasted beef. It is the size of a fat baby’s thigh. Gigantic. Very good balance of flavors, delicious queso. These burritos tend to get salty very fast, but this one did not. The salsa that comes with the chips is thick and rich. Not the cilantro tomato water normally served in Mexican restaurants.

We stopped in town to visit family and catch up over a late lunch. They suggested this restaurant and I am so glad they did! It was quick, service was friendly, and food was phenomenal! Very big portions, I had enough for a second meal! Will definitely be back if we are back in the area again!

The server disappeared, maybe got a smoothie or something while serving? She disappeared, I had to ask for a box and the bill (from others) then she finally brought the bill and charged the wrong tab on it. Another wait for the manager to fix her screw up.
