We love the small plates way of eating and theirs is a mix of French and other influences. We particularly love the lentil Dhal, the beetroot tarts ration and the beef bourguignon is fabulous. The desert we are always hopeful for is the meringue sphere, which is so good- no matter what the filling is! You must reserve as it’s just so popular.
It’s a small, intimate restaurant where you can feel that everything is prepared with love and attention to detail. The experience gave me real Emily in Paris vibes: cozy, charming, and effortlessly elegant.
This is the kind of place that’s mostly known by locals — and that only makes it more special.
The staff is very helpful to introduce you the menu and to welcome you warmly.
Food is delicious; but the portions are very small – we expected for them to be more.
the prices are over the average I would say. Especially for the small plates(that are like tapas) cost around 9/10 Euro.
✨️The ambiance is lovely.
The food itself is good and well-prepared, with nice flavors. However, keep in mind that this is a tapas-style restaurant, so it doesn’t really fill you up and it can quickly become expensive for what you get — even if the taste is there.
For four people, we almost ended up ordering nearly the entire menu, which says a lot.
Unfortunately, the service really affected our experience. We were served by what clearly seemed to be a trainee, dressed very casually (sweatshirt), and lacking basic professionalism. We were told that the dish of the day was duck breast, which is what we ordered, only to end up being served a dish with mashed potatoes instead (great but frustrated). This kind of confusion shouldn’t happen, especially without any explanation.
I won’t go into all the details of the service issues, but the lack of professionalism and proper guidance was noticeable.
Overall, a place with good food.
Every dish was a little exploration in some different type of cuisine, and each was perfect on its own. I still don’t get how you can make baked rice with a fried egg so amazingly tasty. It’s pure mastery!
The service was very fast, very personal and at the same time gentle. I can tell by the way the bartender was shaking that he knows what he’s doing.
So for me this restaurant had it all. Thank you so much for this experience
