Great local gem to dine at. The friendly home style atmosphere is hard to beat. The family run staff is very hard working and personable. I ordered the chicken parm and an appetizer of wings. Both tasted delicious, and the prices were also reasonable for the area. I would totally recommend dining at Chauncey’s.

It’s not called Chauncey’s Fine Dining, but wow was that a bad meal. I expected something like from a bar, but that was close to inedible. I think the chicken might’ve been in the freezer out the back since the 90s. Kind of expensive too, especially for what it is.

Not sure what restaurant these other people went to, no idea how it’s rated so highly.

Really disappointing service. The place was not busy but it took nearly two hours altogether. It was 20 minutes before we were asked to place our order and we didn’t have coffee yet. In all the time we were there, I got one and a half cups of coffee. When our food finally came, it was lacking in basics. For example, I ordered two pancakes, eggs, sausage and homefries and it was so skimpy! No eggs! Those came separate and much later. One sausage patty? Really? My wife asked for crispy bacon and it came under cooked. We never got asked if we were enjoying our meal or if we need anything. Staff was surly. My mother finally got her fruit cup when we were paying. So strange. So lame. Two stars for the location and atmosphere but I’ll never go back.

The service was great. The waitress was quick and polite. The food was delicious. I thought the BBQ combo and the Apple Pie were delicious. This place was almost much less expensive for higher quality food. I think more people need to find this gem.

Comfort food at its best! The service tends to be a little slow. Perhaps to underscore the importance of savoring every delicious mouthful of food like grandma made. And waiting for something made from scratch requires patience. Lovely waitresses. Superb desserts. If you’re planning a day at the Manchester VT outlets take the time to stop here.

Oh my awesome. Good service, great food. Pot roast best we’ve ever had. Salmon over cheese ravioli in an Alfredo was spectacular. Clam chowder perfect. Best meal we’ve had in a long time.

Good home cooking, always. The service is often slow, so if you’re in a hurry this might not be the place for you. I love to come here to have a relaxing meal with family and friends. Good burgers, chili, blueberry pancakes and desserts!

Low key family place on route 7 in Arlington, Vermont. At first, they were hesitant to seat us because we didn’t have a reservation?? They did seat us, ultimately. The place never got that crowded, so I don’t know what the whole issue was, to begin with. The food was good.
I really enjoy the butternut squash bisque soup, however my husband’s pork chop was served room temperature and the potato pancake was very dense.
Menu is very small, so not sure whether I would return. We we’re just passing through, but we come up this way very often to visit family.
