I am very glad I came, me and my girlfriend stopped by after the name caught our eye, we were immediately greeted by the stores extremely friendly and helpful owner(or at least I assume she is). She made me and my girlfriend feel extremely welcome and taken care off with small talk to start off and then two free samples that were delicious. As we left she wished us a good night, and I very much intend to come back as I felt very welcomed.

I was initially near here for the Bosnian market and the name caught my boyfriends and my attention, we were greeted right away with the stores extremely friendly and helpful owner! She gave us samples from her deli, it was a kidney and rice dish and a fried spinach and rice dish. I’m very picky but both of these blew me away. We will definitely be back to try more from the deli!

I am so glad I randomly decided to pop in and see what this store was about. Besides the groceries, they have a hot food deli. I’ve never had Liberian (or generally West African) cuisine, and now I know what I was missing! The staff were incredibly friendly and gave me samples of several dishes. Everything I had was quite tasty. I settled on taking home a dish of the sweet potato and have been eating it for several meals. It’s spiced so well, with just enough heat to bring the flavor without lighting me up. You gotta pick over a few of the bones, but it’s well worth it for the savory meat. Or if that seemed like it wasn’t your thing, you could easily just ask for all greens and be happy you did. I’ll definitely be stopping by here regularly!

Have been curious about this place so while shopping at B&N finally stopped in. Super glad I did! Their deli is open and full of delicious looking and smelling food. Was given a sample to try the Liberian Pepper Soup and immediately bought some to take home for dinner that night. The broth was a delightful spicy ham flavor (the perfect amount of spice – not too hot, just right) with pieces of ham, chicken, beef and fish, served over rice. Perfect for a cold, rainy day, or if you’re feeling under the weather. Will be back for more of this soup and to try the other menu items! Staff/cooks were kind and very proud to share their food with everyone. Thank you!

I would like to start off by saying that I actually like this place’s pepper sauce, but there are sometimes where I show up and there is no one there; even though it says the store is open. Today was one of those days and it really just annoyed me because for such a good business they are inconsistent. It is 2:30 and on the website it says they don’t close until 6pm.

Great customer service. The food is good. Very clean store and the store is very welcoming. They sell Halal products which is very great for our Muslim community. I will be coming back soon.

I bought a 6 pack malt and was charge $52 for it because she entered it wrong. When I went back to the store to get a refund I was in the store for almost 40 minutes she did not know what to do she had to call the owner to walk her through it and I had to help her count change because she could not process a card refund. I was then charged individually instead of a 6 pack that I still had to pay for after so much hassle. At that point I was getting more and more frustrated. How can you have a business and not take the time to train your staff if you are going to leave them in the store alone. Vivian was nice but does not understand the money and does not understand the cash register. All I got to say is I will not be returning to that store because it is not worth the hassle.
