Just found out about Peggy Sue’s and i definitely was not disappointed. Great food, great portion size and great people. I had the chicken and dumplings and it was awesome. They offer dinners and dairy bar food, so whichever you are in the mood for, they have you covered. I will go there again soon, so give them a try and bring an appetite.

These are the best burgers around. They are hand patted burger Pattie’s, not frozen little pucks like so many others around here use. Not only that but they have fresh cut French fries which are so much better than frozen fries. Well done crew of Peggy Sue’s Country Kitchen, bravo!
UPDATE: I stopped back by for dinner and got the pulled pork and it’s excellent. I peaked around back and they’ve got a big wood smoker, it’s not a pellet smoker here and it smelled so good. Also, the meat comes with sauce on the side as any self respecting BBQ should!

I have driven there twice to try what I am told are great burgers. Neither time was I able to procure a burger. Last (20 miles aka $5:00 gas) it was Monday. Guess what closed Monday. Today, Wednesday, wich there sign says business as usual on Wednesday. I waited at window for the young man inside to get done on the phone. He opens window with pad in hand, says, “Can I help you?”. I respond, “two burgers and 2 fries”. He then says to me, “She is only doing specials today.” I didn’t even ask what the special was. I won’t be back b/c if the burgers are that good I don’t want to try one. They won’t be open long unless they change their business practices. I don’t want to miss not having a “Great’ burger.
