Went in to get a couple slices w my daughter & upon seeing them I changed my mind. She happily got one & took a bite as soon as we were home. It was so cold, and the dough wasn’t cooked. I called back, just so they could check the remaining there & cook it (said “I wanted to give a heads up so no one gets sick, not calling for $$ back) but was yelled at that they’ve made pizza for 40 yrs & yelling to someone else there that the pizza was cooked but I said it wasn’t. (I already had my oven hot to cook it myself.)
I said “nevermind, I will be back so you can see it yourself”. Gave the $5 refund to my daughter & promised I’d never take her there again.

I just ordered a baby pizza, ham and cheese and it’s the most soggy pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. I love their slices, but when you order a pizza from these guys, it’s gross. Nothing but grease soggy than ever if you wanna Quick slice definitely but to order a pizza from these guys definitely not soggy gross never again

Ordered one medium and one small pizza delivered. Driver showed up with two medium pizzas and an order of wings. Toppings were not what we ordered. Called and ordered again. This time, they got sizes and toppings right but crust was so tough we could only eat parts of the slices. Very disappointing. First time we ordered from there and definitely the last.

I’ve stopped in here after work for slices, this is amazing, handcrafted home style pizza. The lady at the window was incredibly helpful and polite, and I learned that this establishment has been around since 1977. Many thanks from a repeat customer, will definitely be back.

Ordered a meatball sub and was given a horrible looking sandwich. This was not toasted, almost no sauce, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Honestly couldn’t have looked worse. When I called and asked about the meatball sub after they replied with its pretty “plain Jane”. My wife is also very unsatisfied with her assorted sub. This isn’t the meal we were hoping for after just having a baby and getting some food close to the hospital.

Stay away if you have food allergies. My good friend who has known the owner most or all of her life and is a buddy of the whole family told me that the owner has a bad attitude towards food allergies, mocks customers who inquire about that, and is dismissive and uncaring about food allergies. No matter what they say you can’t trust them on this because they don’t want to understand why and what they must do and don’t want to accommodate this.

I was born and raised in New Jersey just 20 minutes from New York City. My home area had some of the best pizza in the world.
When I moved to central Canada 17 years ago, no pizza ever came close.
We moved to Petrolia not too long ago and have tried several pizzerias. Pizza Italia is the closest thing to the taste of NY/NJ pizza and I’m thrilled to have found it. The taste, texture, sauce, toppings and cheese are everything I’ve been missing and craving from home!
Thank you for making a great pizza that tastes like home again.
