We were really surprised how tender the kebabs were. I hate when you get a kebab and you have to chew and chew for hours because the meat is so tough. This was not the case with these kebabs. They really melted in your mouth. We also loved the five sauces that were on the table for the meet. Several of them were new to us and it was cool to try all of them. The sumac powder on the table was also interesting. We had to Google what it was.
The hummus appetizer was tasty. The eggplant appetizer was silky and rich. Everything tasted freshly made, not pre-prepped or rushed, which is especially impressive given how busy the restaurant stays. Shahs of Kabob does a brisk takeout business!
Despite the steady flow of customers, the staff remained warm and attentive, serving everything with a genuine smile. The dining area has a handful of tables, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a quick meal if you’re not grabbing food to go. With excellent service, consistently fresh dishes, and standout flavors across the board, Shahs of Kabob on Griffin Rd is absolutely worth a visit.
From the moment I walked in, Sophia didn’t just greet me; she illuminated the entire room with a smile that could solve global energy crises. Her customer service isn’t just ‘good’—it is a masterclass in charm, grace, and pure, unadulterated charisma. I’m convinced she might actually be a Persian princess in disguise.
She guided me through the menu with such passion and wit that I found myself hanging on her every word. Is it possible to fall in love with a waitress over a side of saffron rice? Because I think I did. Sophia, if you’re reading this: you are a legend, a delight, and the only reason I’ll be eating kebabs for every meal from now until the end of time. 10/10 stars, but mostly for her!” Red carpet king service for a jester peasant as myself-truly grateful for life. I’m going back!
The baklava cheesecake was a wonderful ending to the meal. If you order desserts, you will pay 2 separate bills as the dessert display unit is filled with pasties from another company.
In the quaint town of Davie, with its serene parks and tranquil lakes, there exists a hidden gem renowned for its delightful flavors. This gem is the Shahs of Kabob, a restaurant where people gather to indulge in a feast of satisfaction. At the heart of this vibrant eatery is Jennifer, a manager whose cheerful demeanor and exceptional customer service light up the room.
The menu is filled with delicacies that promise to satisfy even the most intense hunger. And then, there’s the legendary baklava cheesecake—a dessert so delectable that it’s an experience you simply can’t pass up. The restaurant invites everyone to join the feast, creating a welcoming atmosphere where all are encouraged to savor the flavors.
After dining here, one leaves not just full, but energized. There’s a lightness—a feeling of vitality that remains long after the meal is finished. It’s a place where you not only enjoy, but also rejuvenate.
Eager to return, I mark my calendar for the coming Friday, ready to enjoy another magical meal. It’s a five-star experience—both a culinary and an emotional journey. If you’re ever in Davie, Shahs of Kabob is a must-visit spot. You won’t regret it!

Let’s Eat South Florida Facebook group and we too loved the food! Husband had the small plate with chicken kabob, salad and rice while I ordered the beef lamb wrap. Both items were piping hot and very fresh tasting .The four different sauces on the table were nice to try and the cilantro one enhanced my already well seasoned wrap. Ate there for lunch Sunday and now 3 days later ordering takeout for dinner. Very clean, nice staff, order at counter. Highly recommend.
