Shahs of Kabob in Cooper City delivered such a great meal on my Girls Night out that it deserves real praise. Even though it’s a chain, this location feels bright and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I ordered the fillet minion and lamb kebab plate, and every bite was tender, flavorful, and clearly prepared fresh. My friends tried the chicken, lamb, and beef kababs, both the small plate, which comes with one kebab and rice and salad and the large plate, which come with two kebabs and rice and salad. I’d say the large plate was the best valu, but it is a tremendous amount of food, so if you don’t have a big appetite, definitely order a small plate, or you can just take out the leftovers which is I what I did. I had a whole other dinner for the next day. The reactions around the table were the same—fresh, perfectly seasoned meats that exceeded expectations.
We were really surprised how tender the kebabs were. I hate when you get a kebab and you have to chew and chew for hours because the meat is so tough. This was not the case with these kebabs. They really melted in your mouth. We also loved the five sauces that were on the table for the meet. Several of them were new to us and it was cool to try all of them. The sumac powder on the table was also interesting. We had to Google what it was.
The hummus appetizer was tasty. The eggplant appetizer was silky and rich. Everything tasted freshly made, not pre-prepped or rushed, which is especially impressive given how busy the restaurant stays. Shahs of Kabob does a brisk takeout business!
Despite the steady flow of customers, the staff remained warm and attentive, serving everything with a genuine smile. The dining area has a handful of tables, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a quick meal if you’re not grabbing food to go. With excellent service, consistently fresh dishes, and standout flavors across the board, Shahs of Kabob on Griffin Rd is absolutely worth a visit.

The salads were fresh and bright, simple yet delicious. The falafel was well seasoned and the fresh herbs included helped it not feel dense and heavy. The kabobs were juicy and grilled to perfection. I had the Ghorbeh Sabzi stew on recommendation by the server, but definitely preferred my husband’s kabobs.
The baklava cheesecake was a wonderful ending to the meal. If you order desserts, you will pay 2 separate bills as the dessert display unit is filled with pasties from another company.

Got charged $11 for an appetizer that was two tablespoons of yogurt, the Koobideh was ordered with grilled tomato didn’t get any. Ordered a side of bread with the Must-o khair and got flour tortilla. If I want Mexican, I’ll order from a Mexican restaurant next time.

Let’s Eat South Florida Facebook group and we too loved the food! Husband had the small plate with chicken kabob, salad and rice while I ordered the beef lamb wrap. Both items were piping hot and very fresh tasting .The four different sauces on the table were nice to try and the cilantro one enhanced my already well seasoned wrap. Ate there for lunch Sunday and now 3 days later ordering takeout for dinner. Very clean, nice staff, order at counter. Highly recommend.
