The ranch dressing had too much mayonnaise flavor for me which was more than I’ve had at the Sherwood location. The Sherwood location had a much more sour cream flavor and ranch seasoning flavor than this item.
The French fries were not good. It seemed that they had a slightly sweet taste but what I didn’t like was the unfresh chew they had. Dry and not tender in the center.
The mild wings (I don’t remember the flavor) were over cooked and dry. The sauce was slightly sweet and good. Look at the picture.
The lemon pepper wings did not taste like lemon, just very acidic and there was not much lemon looking seasoning as at my visit at Sherwood. lemon paper usually has yellow seasoning visible in it. This not so much.
Cash was not accepted on this visit.
We had to wait for this.
I ordered my food through the website around 11pm on Friday, 12/5/25 to ohysically picked up myself. I knew it was late at night and that this was a busy location, so I waited 30 minutes after ordering before I even went to the store. They had not even started on my order when I arrived. I waited there for an additional 30 minutes. When my food was finally ready, I checked the bag and noticed it was missing the fries. I notified the girl who was working the register. She told me they “just” ran out of fries, and then walked off to the back without communicating any guidelines on how to get my money back. I patiently waited a few more minutes for her to come back to the front, and then waited even longer as I watched her take orders for 3 other people who had walked in AFTER I told her my order was missing fries. When I finally got her attention again- around 10-15 minutes after I was handed my partial order- she rudely asked me, “what else you want?” I explained that I needed a refund because I paid for the fries, and while rolling her eyes she finally tells me I needed to do that “through the app”. As she walked off to the back- Again- I tried telling her that I don’t have “the app”. On top of all that, when I finally got home, I also realized my order was missing blue cheese- which is something else I had paid for. My wings were so insanely greasy that I couldn’t even eat them. I also looked up Wingstop’s refund policy and it says that customers can initiate refunds through the app, online, or THROUGH THE STORE DIRECTLY.
This is one of the worst overall experiences I have ever had from a restaurant.
1) The girl working the register should not be in a customer service position. Her attitude was rude and dismissive, and she was the opposite of unhelpful. She failed to even inform me they were out of fries, and then did not apologize. I had to wait a long time just to tell her it was missing the fries, and then waited even longer to ask about a refund .
2) The entire staff would benefit from more training on everything from how to cook the food to how to provide timely service to how to treat customers.
3) The manager needs to schedule enough people to work busy nights.
4) The staff should be knowledgeable about important basic aspects of the job like how to issue a refund when they run out of an item.
I want to like Wingstop, I really do. The wings are tasty, the fries are seasoned just right, and that ranch? Elite. But the wait time absolutely kills the experience.
I ordered ahead online thinking I’d be in and out—WRONG. Showed up 10 minutes after the pickup time and still waited another 25 minutes. No updates, no apology, just a bunch of people standing around looking just as frustrated as me.
By the time I got my food, it was barely warm. Not worth the wait
