Great atmosphere. Would drop in every time in Havasu City. Best prices anywhere!
The customer service was spot on! Extremely friendly wait staff – was recommended a few items on the menu & answered any questions! Loved the recommended Beignets – tried both dipping sauces! Would come back just for the Beignets! My daughter had the 2-egg meal & I had the Western Burger and was suggested the onion tanglers for a side! Both were excellent & enough for leftovers! Again the staff was extremely friendly – checked on us numerous times & had perfect smiles! . I would also come back just for the customer service!
Food’s delicious, lots of it and very reasonable.
We’ve had several of their menu items- breakfast, burgers, beignets (sp- can’t spell it, but those NOLO fried thingies popular in New Orleans) and it’s all been great. We plan our day trips from Parker in order to eat here, whenever possible.
Don’t miss this place!
You order at the counter here, and the payment screen immediately prompts for a tip. We don’t carry cash anymore, so we felt pressured to tip even though counter-service normally doesn’t warrant it. Not a deal-breaker on its own, but it set the tone.
We ordered breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak itself was fine for basic frozen bar food, but the eggs were a different story. They came out overcooked and browned, with grill scrapings, burnt onions, and little bits of who-knows-what mixed in. They had two chances to correct this, and it still came out that way—something I would never serve to anyone when I used to run a grill. The hash browns were so saturated with oil they literally drifted across the plate. Both plates had the same issue.
We also didn’t get checked on—not once. No refills, no follow-up, nothing. I asked our server (and later another server, because we were being ignored) for the WiFi password. Both said it was written down and they’d bring it right over. Neither ever returned. At that point, the tip screen felt even more misplaced.
My philosophy is simple: you can get food anywhere. What separates restaurants—especially at today’s prices—is service. All customers should be valued. We weren’t, and it showed from start to finish.
Unfortunately, our visit lined up exactly with the negative reviews we’d hoped were exaggerated. We won’t be back.
Karissa makes you feel like family while making bomb breakfast drinks; add in the 80’s tunes and it’s a good day!
P.S. the hashbrowns have a nice little crunch!
