From the moment I entered, the staff were friendly and kind. Menus ready, water served and bread and some dips bought to the table.

Very clean, fresh food that is extremely tasty and feels like it was made with love. Gives me ‘home made’ like my grandmas food in the best way possible.

A little taste of heaven here in white plains.

Nice spot with a clean, modern look inside. The staff was friendly, but it seemed a bit understaffed with only two ladies running the whole place. Food was decent overall, though one of my dishes never came out. Chairs are not very comfortable.

This is such a fantastic place. Very very very authentic Persian food. Try their Fesenjan and you won’t be disappointed. Kelly was a great host, she also offered us an Albanian dish which was fabulous. We will be back!

Excellent apps and mains, wonderful special rices. Cocktails a bit hit or miss. Elegant but chill and calm atmosphere. Service could be a little more attentive at times from the wait staff. Free abundant parking in the garage at the building and they validate parking electronically , so that is a joy. We’ve been back at least a half dozen times

+ –> The service was good. The place looks modern. Parking is free! (Make sure the waitress validates your parking ticket)
– –> The food is very MEDIocre. Nothing special. Koobideh comes with only one piece of meat. Most of the places with this concept serves two. Fillet minon Kebap was medium rare. It was difficult to chew. In short, the food is not going to make you surprised. If you haven’t eaten any mediterranean food in your life, you could be okay. The restroom is outside, so you need to leave the dining room and wait in the hall if there is someone inside.

It is a pretty restaurant with lovely Persian artwork on the walls, and it is actually easy to miss even if you’re walking by it since it’s inside an apartment building. The food there is wonderful, and so is the service.

The bread for the table is warm pita served with a creamy tangy yogurt dip and a spicy herby yummy sauce made with jalapenos, herbs, walnuts etc. It’s hard to stop yourself from eating! For appetizers, we ordered the grilled shrimp, which were juicy, perfectly cooked, and delicately spiced and served with a super good jalapeno feta cream . We also got the kashk badenjoon, which was a warm eggplant dip topped with crispy onions and cream of whey, and it was smokey and delicious. We also got the marinated pickles that we had as a side with our mains. They’re some of the best pickles I’ve ever had, and the cauliflower in it is my favorite.

For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Koobideh Kabob to share, and we replaced the saffron basmati rice that the dish came with Shirin, which has candied orange zest, barberry, pistachio, and almonds. The Chicken Koobideh Kabob is flavored with saffron, super juicy, smokey, and charry, and so good! Mom said it’s the best chicken she has had in a while, and after the first bite asked when we can go back cuz she definitely wants it again . We were stuffed by this time but decided to sneak a peek at the dessert menu, and mom wanted to try the ice cream, which had saffron, pistachios, and rosewater. We asked the server if it was possible to get just a single scoop, and they happily obliged, and it was so good, and the perfect quantity we were looking for! We left as two very happy and very full diners.

Went there for lunch. Tucked away, parking free, restaurant in the lobby of a building. Pretty much empty but for me and another patron. Ordered salmon kebob and Persian black tea. Salmon was very dry and fishy tasting. Rice was cold. Basket of bread was also cold but the sauces were good. All in all, I’d pass for lunch and, while I’ve been there for dinner a few times and liked it, I will likely be turned away by this experience. Was a five star experience on my prior visits for dinner.

We ordered chicken and they brought a beef kebab. Upon telling the waitress, no apology or a shred of regret- she just asked if we don’t eat beef. She did confirm that we ordered chicken. My wife who doesn’t eat beef for religious reasons, took a bite thinking it was chicken and hasn’t even got a word of apology. And there was a mess-up in the substitution of rice we ordered but that didn’t bother us much.
