Wow, we had a great experience here!! The friendliness of the staff made us feel very welcome. They offered us complimentary appetizers (likely because it was slow) and everything we ate tasted so fresh! The sushi rolls are carefully crafted and the salads contain such fresh ingredients (love the mushrooms)!! Thank you for the warm and respectful service

I feel like I’d been settling for mid sushi for a while, but coming here reminded me how it should be. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to in WA. The quality is top tier, the service fantastic, and every dish was beautifully plated. Already planning our next visit. Thank you for the amazing service!

We went here last night with a large group, and to their credit, they were able to seat us fairly quickly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.

When we sat down, none of us had chopsticks or full place settings, so we had to ask for them. It also took quite a while before our server came back to take our order. Once food started arriving, it came out slowly and in a random order, some people were still waiting for their dishes while others were nearly finished eating. There was no communication or acknowledgment about the delays, so we weren’t sure if everything had even been served.

It appeared that there was only one server working the entire restaurant, which we completely understand must have been overwhelming. However, with no updates or check-ins, it was frustrating to see hot dishes like tempura and calamari sitting on the counter for a while cooling before being brought out.

As for the food itself, it was okay. Portions were decent and aji was fine, but not particularly memorable. For the prices, though, we expected a much smoother and more attentive dining experience.

Overall, we left feeling disappointed. While we sympathize with how short-staffed the restaurant seemed, the lack of communication and slow service really impacted our night, and we likely won’t be returning.

The reviews from others were right on, this place is Amazing! The door was hard to find at night, but once inside. What a Great, small yet full of life restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food served was Delicious & Perfect!

The sushi was So Fresh, the cod so light and delicious! And the tea ☕️ was exquisite!

And to top it off, the area was Alive & vibrant!
I will be going back Often!

Overall good but pricing of hot foods seemed expensive. The best bang for your buck is definitely the Sashimi combo. It was thick cut but the actual piece of fish was smaller in length oddly enough.

Spider roll was underwhelming since it was only 5 pieces.

For some reason the servers looked so busy the entire time but they seemed fully staffed. It was hard to get the servers attention.

Decorations are spot on.

The seaweed salad was well done and not out of Costco box like many of other restaurants. The tempura was amazing. The sushi was good. Only thing was that seems they were short of staff so things are a bit slow.

We were excited to try out a nicer sushi restaurant on the Eastside. Fish seemed fresh but the flavors were a bit on the lighter side for me. I think the premium handroll with fatty tuna was the best thing we ordered. Service was attentive and fast but it also wasn’t very crowded.

All ingredients are of high quality, sushi is the best way to taste the freshest of the seafood, not overpriced, portion just right. But the sauce for some hot dishes such as spicy oysters n fish collar is too salty, can make it much lighter.

When we ordered the sashimi dish, the staff kindly gave a big bowl of rice for us to share. The day we visit is busy, but the only staff serving is smart and quick. All orders come fast n nice, even the seaweed of handrolls are still crispy.

The udon is not on menu, but we just like some hot noodles to round up the meal. Thx for the good preparation n quick response of the chef. The Japanese cheesecake is very nice, with a “raw” way of presenting it.

I’ve lived in LA for over 10 years and have eaten at many sushi restaurant’s foods. However, there has never been a sushi restaurant where the food is as delicious and fresh as here. The sashimi was thick and fresh and had a savory taste, and other dishes also gave me new and special tastes that were different from what I knew.
The interior of this restaurant was modern and luxurious. Nevertheless, the price of food at this sushi restaurant was not more expensive compared to other sushi restaurants. I will visit here more often!

First time eating here. It was a decision made on a whim and we didn’t make reservation. We managed to get a bar seat.

The food was good. We ordered the omakase, black cod, salmon belly sashimi, and spider roll. They were all really tasty.

The service was very friendly. We waited for awhile for the omakase and our kind waiter apologized profusely but all other dishes came out just at the right time.
