Tucked behind the historic United Theatre, Nana’s is an organic bakery and pizza shop, and restaurant. We offer naturally leavened dough using regional and sustainably grown grains. We bake our bread and pastries fresh daily after a long, slow overnight cold fermentation to develop flavor and improve nutrition. Using the fantastic mold koji, grown by our sister company Moromi Shoyu, we leverage flavor and amplify umami in our pizzas, drinks, and baked goods. Come join us in our cozy dining room or sit at our bar where we serve libations, organic espresso by Canyon Coffee, organic tea by Leaves and Flowers, or enjoy some of our housemade kombucha.

A friend told me I needed to go here and I grabbed takeout while passing through town. I got the white sourdough pizza (added mushrooms on half) and it was amazing! Really thin and blackened crust, which I like, with crispy cheese. I also wanted to try the caramel miso latte and they were sadly out of that syrup, so I’ll have to return for that someday! The barista was super nice and made me an iced vanilla/ginger latte which was good too. Really cute space!

Nana’s never disappoints! My new favorite go to place. Always fresh, locally-sourced ingredients & creative dishes like the Cucumber Raita w/ Sicilian olive oil and Row 7 sweet potato chips. Oh, and the delicious Margarita Pizza w/ fresh basil, high quality mozzarella on a scrumptious sourdough crust! Nana’s is truly a gem. Love it here.

Nana’s is always fantastic – the best pizza around and the menu is always interesting. The food is well thought out and perfectly made every time. Most recent visit we had the caldo gallego and it was amazing. Bakery items – particularly the sourdough doughnuts – shouldn’t be missed. The most interesting cocktail menu I’ve seen in a while. Service is outstanding and friendly. All in all, this place shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area, and worth going out of your way for if you aren’t

Had another awesome breakfast. The Bacon Egg and Cheese was crunchy, chewy, and tasty all in one bite. The Tofu Scrambler was delicious and savory. And the drip coffee was fresh and balanced, we added oat milk. Will be back again!

We tried Nana’s for the first time last night and were very impressed. This is the first cocktail I’ve ever gotten with corn in it, and boy was it delicious. The honey + pepperoni pizza was super tasty! Other patrons were eating non-pizza menu items which looked equally scrumptious. It seems like the menu theme is classic Italian with an unexpected, chef’s twist. We look forward to coming back. Even if just for the lemon sourdoughnut.

I would like to be able to tell you whether the food is good, but I can’t because the delivery person, for some reason, decided not to deliver my pizza. I watched the delivery vehicle enter my driveway, then turn around and leave. However, they did not forget to charge my card.
Just an update: Nana’s restaurant refunded the order that was not delivered and apologized. I was then invited to visit the restaurant in person. It was also explained that the drivers were contracted out and not employees of the restaurant. I would still like to try their pizza so I am planning to order again.

My favorite restaurant in RI! My husband and I go to Nana’s once a week. The menu is always interesting, the food is always delicious, and the service is always amazing. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a coffee and cookie (their chocolate chip cookies are superb), you know it’s gonna be a banging meal.
