I recently discovered this place on Google maps and stopped by for breakfast. I was not disappointed, the food was exceptional and the service even more so. The breakfast is made, to order, and was served incredibly quick and was very tasty, I especially loved the pancakes. While I was there the lady that was running the place had several people come in that she knew by name, that’s how you know a place is good in my opinion when you have repeat customers and they’re on a first name basis. There’s also a bakery here but since it was in the morning I didn’t buy any cookies or anything but all of the stuff looked delicious, this is conveniently located very near the Pennsylvania Grand canyon in between galeton and wellsboro on route 6.

My boyfriend and I are staying in the area for the weekend and came across this sweet little place. We stopped for breakfast, but the lunch and dinner menu looked great too!! Food was great, was done quick, and all at a great price. Our favorite part was talking to the staff. We had great conversation with the sweetest lady who had the cutest pup! Would definitely come back.

Great experience overall, do not pass this place up! The older woman who helped us was so sweet! We got breakfast, coffee, and treats to go. Everything was amazing and prices were fair. We enjoy going to smaller, diner places and this definitely did not disappoint. Would recommend 5/5.

By far the absolutely best breakfast within a 30 mile radius! I had an omelet called “the kitchen sink” and it was huge and fantastic. Such lovely ladies run the place and they offer a guest book so you can tell others where you came from and what you thought of the place. As a bonus, the sticky buns and other baked goods will have your mouth watering

This place is a hidden gem. The people are so friendly and the service couldn’t be better. Family owned and operated since 1939. Gayle was our sever who was born here in 1948 and came back with her husband in 1993. We love supporting family owned and operated businesses, especially when the people are this nice and the food is this fresh and delicious!
Edit: it was so good we came back for breakfast just to see Gayle!

Stopped here for breakfast before the Wagon Ride at the PA Grand Canyon. The waitress took special care to get us served in time. Food was good, service excellent and they sell baked goods to go too. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff

Miss Gayle & Miss Tiffany are THE BEST! There was nothing unclean, everything was amazing, we only came here for two days – but listen to me: you gotta be their brand!
YOU SHOULD COME HERE – If you want to visit a place to: take a step back in time to the 1950s, and into another culture (small town ‘merica), and act like you are visiting “Grandma Gayle’s Place” (you come to bless her, help out clear tables, get your own coffee, and sometimes carry food) – and you love to order three things for bfast / person lol – you gotta try the Kitchen Sink Omelette with extra veggies, Hunter’s Special, and Liver & Onions (if that’s your thing) – always ask for hot sauce & REAL local maple syrup. Every breakfast will be awesome and you’ll have leftovers for the cabin for later! Love Miss Gayle (the friendly grandma-like owner) and Miss Tiffany (the amazing cook)
YOU SHOULD NOT COME HERE – If you enjoy metro/suburban restaurants/chains that clear your plates within 30seconds and refill your glasses when they are half empty right away, and you don’t like helping the staff out (there’s only two of them, you gotta help them if you come here yo)
Every breakfast was clean, amazing, and fantastic while we were here. Loved Frome Baxter! Check out the video of them on YouTube, FROME ACRES IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Historic family restaurant. I had the hot beef sandwich and mashed potatoes. Good old-fashioned food. They made us some hoagies to take along for later, and they were also very good.
