Our host suggested we visit this little place next to the river. We walked in and the place was clean and nice. Really friendly staff greeting us and walking us in. The food was really good but a little slow to arrive at our table. We tried the bento box, burger, and general chicken. It was great. The burger left a little to be desired. Our waitress was awesome though!!! Give it a shot if you’re in town.

I am a Kung Pao Chicken fool. That’s what I order. It’s good. In Bethel AK I have not been disappointed. Go out and eat at one of our Korean Chinese fine dining restaurants. If you think you don’t care for Asian food you’re kidding yourself. The food is excellent. Go out and eat, quit holing yourself at home. Live a little. Excellent food, excellent service. Yum.

This was my first time trying this place since the name changed from aurora to Wassabi. I will not be going back and can not in good conscious recommend this Restuarant. The egg rolls weren’t too bad, but our order of Kimchi had a plastic glove in it.
Update: They’ve since change employee’s. Gotten a lot better. Now my go to place for lunch.

Great service and decent food for the Alaska bush. The lunch bento box was a great value with solid portion sizes. The tempura in particular was outstanding, perfect texture!
