This deli is under new ownership and is the best you will ever find!!!!! Fausto and his family are known for their amazing Italian dishes, yummy chicken cutlets, fried eggplant and best wedges!!!! Don’t forget to try the dried sausages! Ignore the old reviews because this does not reflect the new ownership! You will be amazed at the quality of food. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner! Ordered a BEC on a roll s/p/k. Got a taco style sandwich on seeded hero bread with globs of ketchup on the bottom of the taco cold cheese bacon and scrambled egg on top. Plus a small coffee that tasted like turpentine. I am not one to leave bad reviews but $9.49 you can and must do better.

J&G Deli and Market is under new ownership and has been completely renovated. New owners have been fixtures in the community in the same business for over 30 years. A large selection of Italian products, Italian meats and cheeses, the sandwiches are works of art! Everything is made fresh everyday never refrigerated or frozen. This deli has good food BUT the service is HORRIBLE. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Today, I went in to place my order of two sticks of dry sausage sliced thin. I know this can take forever — The last time, it took them 20 minutes to have the casing removed from the sausage. So, I decided to place my order, then have lunch at the Greek restaurant (Elias) in the same strip mall, and then return to pick up my order. I told the man behind the counter that I would be back in 40 minutes and asked that he please have it ready, and he said he would. I returned an hour later and my order had not even been started — they didn’t even remove the casing from the sausage!!! I had no time and I had to leave empty handed. The owner, Fausto, simply put his hands up as if to say, “Oh well.” UNREAL UNACCEPTABLE . . . NEVER AGAIN!!!

If you live in Westchester, you need a deli, a la “Cheers.” This is mine. Is it the best? Yes. But even if it were not, it still would be (the best). Best cutlets in the land of cutlets.
