Great pizza spot with great food and friendly staff! The wings and subs are fantastic (and affordable) and don’t forget to get an order the chicken tenders! The pizza is great too, of course. Get anything with the sliced ribeye, high quality pepperoni and/or sausage and you’ll be happy 🙂 They even appear to be very vegetarian conscious with a bunch of options on the menu

GARLIC POWDER TO THE MAX! I think the positive reviews must be from people who don’t dine out much and are not foodies, and it seems all the positve reviews are from people from NJ. 1St, Happy staff but first thing I tasted when I bit into a piece of cheese pizza was GARLIC POWDER and ONION POWDER. 2nd bite, the same. 3rd bite, again the same. When a chef FAILS, turn to SALT AND GARLIC POWDER for a win. Greek salad wasn’t greek at all but a combination of mixed super market green mix, a few olives, 2 slices of cherry tomato and a few crumbles of feta cheese, however, I am always reluctant to order a salad in a pizza place that doesn’t seem too clean.
Go to Grottos or better yet, Crust and Craft. I give it at 1 overall for a friendly staff. Skip it. All I smell is Garlic and Onion powder, couldn’t wait to take the trash out of my kitchen. Ineddible. Skip it.
Make a sandwhich or go to WaWa. Here it is, in the trash.

Ordered a cauliflower pizza due to a gluten allergy along with a chicken caesar salad. Specifically asked for no croutons. The salad had no chicken, nor dressing, and it was loaded with croutons!! Unable to eat the salad due to cross contamination. No cauliflower crust, but it was gluten free. I’ve have better frozen gluten free pizza from the supermarkets..
Tried calling them four times with no answer.

This is the third time I got a pizza from here. Once when they first opened and two in the last four or five months. The pizza wasnt half bad the first time I ate it. I give every business three strikes. We all have bad days.
This last time was it. If they flavored the cardboard box it would have been better. This was the driest pizza i have ever eaten. The crust is the thinnest I have ever seen. Very little sauce, little cheese.
Three strikes and $21.00 for a pizza, no more.

Henlopen Pizza Kitchen has “cracked the code” on that often advertized, but seldom achieved boast of “New York Style pizza”. They don’t actually advertize that, but I think they should! I worked in NYC for 5 years, and in that time, I was lucky to eat some of the BEST PIZZA in the WORLD.
Henlopen Pizza Kitchen is THAT good. Awesome menu, ALWAYS has slices (which is my favorite since I can just order different kinds to have at once). Plain cheese is my personal favorite since if you screw up a cheese pizza, the rest of your menu is going to suck. This place is AWESOME, you MUST go if you LOVE PIZZA.
Their desserts are also TO DIE FOR if you like authentic CANNOLIS!
I do not review restaurants lightly. They have to be extrodinarily GOOD or BAD to get me to take the time to review them.

My order was completed almost 6-7 minutes after it was placed which was a red flag for me. We ordered a Large supreme pie with mozzarella sticks and wings. When I got there the restaurant was completely empty so you’d think they’d have no issues making everything fresh but unfortunately when I opened the pizza box at home it’s obvious this was not freshly made pizza. I only live 10 minutes away and the pizza was apparently ready in 5-6 minutes..The veggies were so settled and soggy and the crust was like rubber.
The pizza was a 3/10 I would not recommend it was a pretty sad meal

Hooray for Henlopen Pizza Kitchen! Finally – a Rehoboth pizza place that delivers (literally) a New York style pizza with a thin and crispy crust. We had ours delivered – their website enables you to schedule a delivery anytime during the day and the delivery company they partner with is timely, friendly and accurate. The pizza arrived already hot and pretty crispy. We slipped the box in the oven at the lowest temperature just to extra-warm it, and it came out perfect after ten minutes. You can also get full pizzas and pizzas by the slice there.

Just ordered our favorite pizza in the area, which is proper NY style and added a pork sandwich for the 1st time. This thing was delicious!! Packed with meat some broccoli rabe and provolone but the star here is the pork. It was tender, juicy and had bit of a kick, although it may have been the thick brown gravy they sent. Only ate 1/2 and saving the rest for lunch! Love this place, the portions and quality of everything is top notch! Keep up the good work!

The pizza was fantastic! We had intended to dine in as they have booths and tables. However, they do not have fountain drinks. After purchasing a 2 liter of soda, we were told that we would have to go to the bar next door to ask for cups. I recommended that they carry cups in the future, and charge for them if needed. They were not open to it, so be sure to plan accordingly if you’d like to eat there.
