The interior is super fun! It’s chill yet still intimate. The service was quick and friendly, they were super patient while we figured out what we ordered. The sushi was good (the Hamachi roll was my personal favorite while the spicy salmon was a bit bland), regular price and decently portioned sizes.

JAK has all the vibes of a small intimate dinning experience without the price tag of a Michelin Star restaurant.

We’ve been to both JAK Handroll and JAK Omakase for their omakase experiences and although the food quality is a bit better at the Omakase, Handroll has a very cute & trendy vibe inside.

We booked on Resy to celebrate my Birthday dinner and they made it very special indeed! This place is good spot to go on a date night or even just a casual night out friends for decent hand-rolls and sake. We’ve been to lots of different places similar to this one and although the combinations they offer weren’t the best, for the price of $38 / person you pretty much get what you pay for so unless you go off the menu and not order Omakase, I would say the quality is decent. Some of the rolls were a little salty, so you can opt out of dipping them in soy sauce & wasabi.

Pairing the rolls with some hot house sake is highly recommended and you can always opt out of getting the high end priced sake bottles unless you are willing to spend the money!

Had lunch today at Jak‘s and it was unbelievably good! Had the 5 course special and the hand rolls were amazing. Tried a few extra out of curiosity and was blown away by them as well. The miso soup was also very good. Service could not be better!

They start you with their “Signature 5 course” which is to get rid of the stuff that doesn’t sell.
Tried 12 hand rolls and only 4 were decent.
Can’t really trust google review these days.
Jellyfish and crawfish on hand rolls?
Can not recommend to others

An Unforgettable Dining Experience!

This was hands down the best dining experience we’ve had all year. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The quality of every single ingredient was outstanding—fresh, top-tier, and expertly prepared. Our favorites were the uni and blue crab, both absolutely delicious!

The atmosphere is intimate and unique, making it the perfect spot for a special date night. The hand roll bar setup adds a personal touch that makes the meal feel even more special.

Service was top-notch—attentive, warm, and professional. The menu is thoughtfully curated and very reasonably priced for the quality you receive.

This restaurant has officially made it into my top 5 favorites of all time. A must-visit for food lovers and couples alike! Just be sure to make a reservation—this hidden gem fills up fast. We can’t wait to come back!

I had such a great here! Service was great. The food was delicious. Even my friend who isn’t a big fan of sushi loved this place. If its your first time you will have to do the the signature course menu. After that tasting, you can get any thing on the menu. I will be back. Oh and try the sparkling sake… absolutely my new favorite thing.

There’s a lot of omakase in atlanta and I really wanted to enjoy this suburbia one. I would say this is an average hand roll place but I would probably prefer other places over for better flavors and quality. For omakase experience, our chef was not interactive with us at all even though our party of girls would ask questions of what was being serviced. This was for a birthday event and it felt more like dinner in the suburbs with an over worked chef. He didn’t really go over what was being served and it was just so different compared to places like Tomo and Chiorii. I think I prefer other places that have more intimate and less novelty kind of food and atmosphere. Honesty, customer service goes a long a way and it would have made a huge difference in my experience here.

Very good quality. Fast service. Affordable for the type food it is. My favorites are the Titanic and the hamachi. The Mr Krabs was also quite good and I wouldn’t have tried it normally – who knew I like jellyfish? Worth trying as well.
