Eat Fantastic in Long Beach Retro Row is a contemporary American restaurant with a fast casual dining experience. We take a gourmet approach to classic LA eats like burgers, breakfast burritos, and chicken tenders. Each menu item is refined to be the best in its class. Our staff makes everything by hand using fresh ingredients from local sources, including our unique sauces. You’ll notice the difference the moment you take a bite. At Eat Fantastic, we have deep California roots. We are a family-owned business with ties to Fantastic Cafe and Burger City Grill, a classic fast food eatery in Torrance. My sister has raved about Eat Fantastic for years now and I finally got the chance to try it today for lunch.
I ordered the pastrami melt and that was really delicious. I feel like pastrami sandwiches are really hard to nail but I think they got it on point here. It has the right amount of meat, cheese, pickles and mustard and it all blends extremely well together. After this, I ordered myself a cheeseburger and was really pleased with it too. It was just the right size and tasted great. I will definitely have to come back to try some of the other burgers on the menu. Also, I have to mention that the price for these items was not that bad. I felt it was a fair price for the quality of the item and they were both delicious. For only a few dollars more I could have gotten a combo.
The service was also really quick, despite the long line in the drive thru. All of our food was ready in less than ten minutes! This and the inside of the building was really warm and cozy and very clean as well.

Freaking Disappointed once Again… After 3 trips ordering Spicy Chicken Tenders and them not coming home Spicy I figured I’d ask them to make sure that my chicken tenders were guaranteed to be spicy!!!! So here I am the 4th time and my tenders are once again NOT SPICY!!!! I asked the cashier to make sure that they made my tenders spicy. Why? What’s the reason that theyre not spicy and just coming Plain Jane?
Yall need to do better about making sure customers orders are correct!!!! Yall tax us hard and expect tips. Fast Food ain’t that hard and yall charging a premium!!!! Get my order right please sheesh

Best Burgers in town. Chili cheese fries were excellent and zucchinis were my favorite Everything was excellent highly recommend. Very clean spot. Definitely coming back. To end my dining experience a mimosa to top it off staff was great.

I asked it with whip cream and this pretty much what I got. I avoided complaint right there because drive thru service is definitely the opposite of 5 ⭐️ you failed and that’s that, no point to lecture you and be there any longer.
After patiently waiting my turn in line finally got to the window and still had me waiting hahahaha!!! Then I politely asked to the employee: how’s your day going? She’s like, pretty good “almost out” bahahahah of course you hate it! My waiting time already had told me how dissatisfied is the experience of working in here is for the crew. Thank goodness someone else in there came through to give me the drink that it was already in the counter and the lady at the window couldn’t just hand me since it looks like such an impossible task to speak in the headset & at the same time opening the window to deliver my shake right?! perhaps it’s more fun to entertain me and the whole line behind me in there? Idk but sorry for the owner of this place. $18 the hour for that service is like you’re being robbed sir.
For that money I consider myself way more efficient, responsible, attentive, respectful, and so many basic values I can bring to my workplace.

I’m not from Long Beach, I live in the valley, but the people that come here I’m assuming is mainly your own, this is bad blood for the community folks. If you love your city, you can do way way better! Keep rising people!

Eat Fantastic has several locations. They have a great menu, with Chili Cheese Fries being my favorite choice. There is a parking lot, but you may have to park on the street during lunchtime. There is a breakfast menu too.

I was on reddit and someone suggested this spot because of the $12 Fantastic Box. I honestly couldn’t believe how much food I got for $12. I’m a big guy so I needed extra tenders.
I can’t find one complaint about this place. Staff were friendly and quick. The entire place was spotless. The food came out fresh. I just can’t understand why they are not sitting at five stars.
Next time I’m in the area I’ll be back!

If you’re looking for incredible quality and quantity without breaking the bank, you’ve got to check this place out! I got their $12 box, and honestly, it blew me away. You get two tenders (spicy or regular I went half-and-half), a solid hamburger (cheese is $1 extra, totally worth it), fries, and even a cookie for dessert. No drink included, but in today’s economy, where else can you get a full, high-quality meal like this for $12?
The restaurant was super clean, the team was friendly, and the woman who took my order even checked on me while I was eating to offer me water. Real hospitality is alive and well here.
I even had a chance to chat with one of the owners. It turns out they grew from one location to ten! Based on what I tasted today, it’s easy to see why. They’re doing it right. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope more people discover how amazing this spot really is.

Always delicious as usual. The box is a great deal. I prefer the regular chicken over the spicy because I find the spicy chicken too dry but that’s just me. Fries and burger are bomb too.
