I stopped by to grab a couple of empanadas, but unfortunately, they were a major disappointment. They were so overcooked they were rock hard! The flavor was there, but it was hard to enjoy past the texture. On a positive note, the tamarindo juice was pretty good.

This was my first and last time coming to this place. Food was okay, but the service was not good.
I got 3 empanadas and 1 quipe. I asked how much do the orders start for RICE ONLY and she said $2. I was expecting to hear $3 or $5 but $2?! Okay, great…I tell her give me an order of $2 of the rice because i only want a little bit…..she gets out the medium size plate and after 2 scoops I KNOW something is not right…she then asks me what part of the chicken do I want? I said chicken? I don’t want any chicken. I only asked for rice! She tells me it’s okay, just pick one… I’m like sure then, give me the chicken breast…she ends up giving me 2 peices!… when she checks me out, she says she charged me $6 for the chicken and rice….I said why?! I said I only wanted $2 and when you asked me what peice I want of the chicken I thought you were giving it to me because I told you I only want the rice…..so she’s like ooooh I’m sorry I thought you wanted chicken too its okay here you go, and charges me $4 instead….im like but i said i only wanted $2?! And instead of honoring me the $2 she just looks at me….in my mind I’m like you know what, I’m not going to argue for $2, but its the principle behind it that bothers me….even if it’s .10 cents more, it’s not what I asked for….POINT BLANK PERIOD!…..So I payed the $4, and the total for everything was $22.
Taste: the quipe tasted like old, like it was sitting there all day, so I was disappointed because kipe is my favorite…flavor was okay, it was bland chicken, didn’t Have enough sazón for me. 2/5
The pizza empanada was really good. It was just sauce and cheese, so don’t expect pepperoni. Flavor was great. 5/5
The ham and cheese empanada was good too, but it needed more ham, it had only a little bit of ham, but it was packed with cheese. 4/5
The completa I didn’t finish it, so I won’t rate it because I got too full.
The fried chicken again, didn’t taste fresh, but the flavor was excellent, I can imagine how it tastes right after coming out of the hot oil. Very garlicky like I like all my meats. 4/5
The rice was okay. I’ve had better tasting chofán. 3/5
I would have came back at least 1 more time to try other things before I make up my mind about this place but after the service, I won’t be coming back.

I ordered food through the phone. They don’t tell me the delivery is through doordash. They upcharged every item I ordered and didn’t tell me about an 8 DOLLAR delivery charge. When you go to place an order on their website it says free delivery and then you call on the phone and they charge you 8 dollars. Then when they didn’t have the soda I wanted they just put whatever soda they wanted for me and refused to let me know or give me a refund afterwards. Make sure they’re not scamming you before ordering online or on the phone.

This restaurant gives me mixed opinions it’s a great local restaurant the food is really good and their tends to be coupon on GrubHub and doordash that minimize the cost.
The only thing I tend to see is their is a lot of reviews saying it takes very long and food comes out cold so I put it to the test I ordered a reasonable order online it took an hour or more for the food to arrived and no this was not the drivers fault as we kept in contact when my food arrived it tend to be a little bit greasy,soggy of course because it was cold I was disappointed.
I tried it again by doing a carryout order it took a while again but this time the food was warm this place needs to work on the time it takes to prep the food.

The service was great. The food was absolutely cold. We had to wait 35 minutes for some guy to get there to make the shakes. Which weren’t made correctly. The only thing good you should get there is the chicken empanadas

I ordered tostones and they send me 3 and the rest fries because they didn’t have enough the lady said. This is probably the only place in the world that you will order chicken and they will send pork because they don’t have what you ordered. They do even care when you complain, horrible service.
