Let me add this to the review. On the menu they specifically say that it includes coleslaw. I love coleslaw with barbecue. I have never received coleslaw in my order at any time. I have been there. This last time I did ask for coleslaw and I wanted them to make sure it was in my order. It was not in my order. If you want coleslaw make sure you ask for it and make sure they put it in there before you leave. On the other hand, everything is fantastic. The chicken is awesome. The service is great. They cook it when you order. Don’t forget to ask for lunch specials if you’re here before 2:00 pm. The atmosphere here is great. If you wish to dine in all the chairs are tall. They have a mini slot machine section, make sure you’re 21 if you use it. The chicken is awesome!

The food was great! This is an actual Harold’s Chicken Shack. They had a special of buy 6 wings get 6 wings free. They also serve drinks. I’ve been there before and the drinks weren’t that good. This time the drinks were good. This is the best Harold’s in this area.

Now the music is a good idea however it was loud.We had to talk over the music and they were playing a lot of unedited music. Which was a little much for me.I love the idea of what they are trying to promote. Yes this could be a nice after work spot or even a birthday party space.
Invest in your business hire a extra help especially when it’s football season you will attract more people of older age and maybe Sunday nights can be a old school night just before you getting ready to start the new week. Overall this Harold’s Chicken has great potential of making a whole lot of money with just with a few changes.

I went there yesterday I was in the area,I usually go to the Matteson store first of all the 18% gratuity RIDICULOUS and food was not good I ordered the gizzards and wing combo the gizzards did not have enough breading or seasoning and were hard the wings were not seasoned the portion was STINGY on any giving day I can’t finish my order from Matteson I was so unhappy I was gonna bring so people there for the night life but if they couldn’t get the food right for two people there’s no way they would get it right for 8-10 people

Love this Harold’s! I had stopped buying Harold’s because it seemed the food just wasn’t as good as it used to be.
Today, this Harold’s took me BACK! Everything was FRESH and hot and tasty! Shonda, our server, was VERY attentive and brought our food promptly with a smile.
They had great music playing. And the happy hour specials end at 7, and include 99 cent wings.
Come support this establishment. I highly recommend it.

THIS FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!! IT WAS NOT DONE!!! FISH WAS MUSHY!! CALLED AND SPOKE WITH MANAGEMENT!! AND HE TOLD ME TO CALL DOOR DASH TO GET A REFUND! NEVER EVER HEARD THIS BEFORE!! DOOR DASH SAID THAT IT WAS UP TO HAROLDS TO REFUND MY MONEY!! SO I DEFINITELY TOOK A LOSS!!

I went with a friend for happy hour. 5-7p. Great margaritas for $5! Also they have a food special $4.99 catfish and fries, maybe to celebrate opening. Service was good. I just wish they had regular table options. All were bar height. Overall I’d comeback. Chill, cozy spot for a drink after work. Slots $$ if that’s your vibe too.
