My husband and I arrived at this establishment about 7:30 pm. We sat in the vehicle for a few minutes because we were having a spirited debate about something, I can’t even remember what it was. I walked in to place our order about 7:35 pm. The young lady who took my order was pleasant and helpful. There was another person in there with her that I later found out was supposedly the manager, Jeffrey (Jeff). I spoke to him when he came over to begin fixing our order and when I tell you the whole experience shifted, that’s exactly what I mean. When I spoke to him he completely ignored me, so I spoke again, thinking he might not have heard me. He looked at me with this vile stare and said “WHAT!!! Yeah just making sandwiches”. There was no hello, how are you, NOTHING. It felt as though I was bothering him by attempting to be cordial.
He began making our food and wasn’t placing the correct ingredients on the sandwiches. I politely asked him to please place the ingredients on the sandwiches according to my order. He initially ignored me again. Then he shot back a dirty, nasty look and said “Uh, I’m handling this and I make them per the receipt. He looked at the receipt again and realized his error but never changed his horrible attitude, ridiculous demeanor or offered an apology.
The young lady in the store was visibly “shook” by the manner in which he was treating me and rushed over to assist Jeff in making our sandwiches. I thank her for that.
He then walked over right in front of where I was standing where his water bottle was, took a drink from the bottle and looked at me like I was dog poop on the bottom off his shoe. I then said “Pause, what is the problem here? Why do you find it necessary to be so rude?!?” He once again ignored me completely.
Why didn’t I leave and request a refund? Well, my husband was craving a certain sandwich from here and in that light I stayed to get his sandwich and used super human restraint in doing so. I was so frustrated, angry and hurt that I had to get eerily quiet to keep my composure about myself.
Another really interesting detail was ALL the ingredients were put away, the line where they pull the ingredients from to build the order was completely empty. I found this very odd being the store didn’t close for another hour and a half.
In conclusion, this was single handedly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had when ordering food and I won’t go back to this location – solely because of Jeff and the way he treated me. It was uncalled for and abusive to me as a customer. No wonder when I asked the young lady his name she whispered it to me. If he so easily treated me as a customer like trash I can’t imagine how he treats employees. For Jimmy John’s to place a person like this in a leadership position is incomprehensible and irresponsible. Customers coming in is the reason Jeff is employed. It’s a shame he doesn’t realize that and behave and act accordingly.
This experience has tarnished Jimmy John’s as a brand for me. I won’t be returning. Of course the choice is up to you where you spend your hard earned money but patronize this business at your own risk. ✌ Out!
I went in on 12-27-2025. I was given two gift cards for Christmas. I went in to this location to place my order. I attempted to pay with the gift cards. Both were for $25.00 each. The first went through. The second did not go through. The cashier then attempted to enter the gift card information manually. It did not go through. The manager came over. She then tried. She said that since it was a third party purchase of the gift card (purchased at Walmart) they did not have to honor them. I said well, at least the first went through. She said no, it didn’t. I said try it again. It went through but, then she said it then showed that it wouldn’t recognize it as tender for more than two seconds. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANYTHING SO STRANGE. I said to her how is this my fault since (your software) recognizes the card as valid then declines it??? I asked for a discount. She gave me one and then proceeded to tell me that I would only be able to use them online! What a horrible policy!
It’s not hard to do that. It takes 0 more time. Idk if this is policy but that’s dumb. And I hate jimmy johns just for that.
Next. Subway does a way better sandwich. Y’all are basic.
If I had gotten the mustard how I wanted I’d still say the sandwich sucks but like ..this is my first time at a Jimmy John’s. And it sucks.
Going to subway next time.
Love you
ordered and also paid for (Little John). I would have appreciated a higher level of customer service and understanding. Also, the slim serving of turkey was absolutely unacceptable for $6.49 compared to what you get at Pickleman’s or other fresh sandwich shops. I am really surprised by this tiny serving size so I felt compelled to write a review which I never do.
We’ve always gone to this particular shop because its closest to our house, every time this guy is so rude! He makes it out like we’re in there a minute til close. When I see online they dont close til 9, we randomly have gone in around 7-830, this time it was 830, because we’re renovation our house and can’t just get something in the kitchen right now.
This guy mouthed to his coworker “we’re in pretty late, and it pisses him off”. Then proceeded to turn the lights off on us!! I had to use the bathroom, so I went, then came out to my fiance saying “let’s go, he was kicking us out”.
