Not sure if they have changed cooks or recipes but the quality has gone down for me in the past 6 months. White rice is extremely mushy and almost all the main dishes taste bland.

I ordered shrimp and broccoli. The shrimp had a bad sour fishy smell. I had to recook it in my frying pan so I wouldn’t get sick. The white rice is disgusting, and if poor quality. My dog didn’t want to eat it. They were very good until the owners changed. It’s a “not again” for me. The food is expensive for no apparent reason. It had no good taste. Lastly, I found a tiny white bug in my sweet and sour sauce.

I ordered over $100 worth of food what’s an order of chicken fried rice plus a beef fried rice no vegetables no carrots, egg,onion or peas.
We ate some but then I had to refry it with our own vegetables cut up onions and add a little egg. I have never had fried rice with zero vegetables

I frequent this place here and there but tonight’s shrimp lo mein was disappointing. I will say that the shrimp was very fresh and the vegetables were te perfect crunch but the noodles were bland and tasteless. The lady and man in the back were cooking and didn’t look up to service me for a few mins in which they continued bagging up orders and then came over to service me. I hope they work on their taste a bit more!

Been eating here regularly for years. HG is consistently the best Chinese restaurant in Bowie. Delivery is prompt. Food is hot. Entrees are always fresh. This cost me $16.95 delivered. I can’t even finish it all lol.

The kung pao chicken is the best one i had. Other places puts to mush vegetables to cut cost they don’t do that. Don’t listen to the negative comments on here. They don’t understand you get good food for the price.

I’m disappointed with my experiences at this local Chinese restaurant, leading me to give it a 2-star rating. Each visit requires me to specifically ask for basics like a fork and napkins, which is quite inconvenient and unexpected for a takeout service. The staff at the register often seem disinterested or even irritated, adding to a less than satisfactory customer service experience. While the food may be acceptable, the lack of attention to these fundamental aspects significantly detracts from the overall experienc.

I order lunch from this establishment a few times a month. Delivery estimate is usually spot on, typically around 30m, a little slower during peak lunch hours, but that’s understandable. I usually try to place my order a little early to anticipate that.
The food is always great! Their lunch specials are a great deal and I always have leftovers to then eat for dinner or save for lunch the next day.
I’ve been in there a few times to pick up my food as well, occasionally order it on the spot. They’re very fast with prep, usually about 15-20 minutes. Staff is very friendly, this goes for in store and driver.
I’d definitely recommend this place and have to coworkers and friends.
