Stopped for breakfast tacos, they were fresh and hot. Prices are good, will definitely return when passing through in the future

I was a little skeptical at first to stop here because I didn’t see any customers, but I am glad I did and will make this my place to go to when I’m in the area.
Had the enchiladas verdes which had great flavor, but they need to work more on those beans and rice, both had good taste but not good texture; there were hard pieces that felt like they were under cooked, and the beans seemed like they got stuck and burnt a bit.
I have never had tortillas like the ones here; the are hand made and look like corn pancakes, but taste great, you could just eat them on their own.

This is a great hole in the wall restaurant! It’s definitely hidden off the highway, and there isn’t much of anything around this exit. But the stop here was well worth it!

Have ordered from here 5+ times and literally every single time the order is wrong. Few times I ask for cheese on all of them and they only put cheese on half the tacos? Or I order 6 tacos and they shorted me and only received 5. I feel like the cook back there just does whatever he wants.

I’ve given this restaurant a few chances and each time I do; the food really isn’t great at all. 1st time I dined in my partner ordered a beef soup it was more soup than any meat in it. Today I ordered 3 breakfast plates, barely had any eggs.. the price should be dropped down to 3-$4 for the portions they serve, plus it was all melted through the plastic plate.. overall it tasted like burnt plastic. Gross!! Not coming here again. On a good note employee’s are always friendly and restaurant is clean.
