The curry shrimp is very good, plenty of heat and cooked perfect, almost too many vegetables, but the shrimp are nice and big, they hide more in there than the picture shows. The rice is basic, but has a good rich flavor. The egg roll wrapper was cooked well, but overall it was small and the filling was nothing special. The service was friendly. I rated the atmosphere low because while it’s a sit down, it’s still an order at the counter and the small area is full of employees personal personal things. It’s not very inviting in that sense.

We decided we wanted to try something new so we ordered the steak har kew due to the description, stake cubes and shrimp, plus the vegetables I called after we got home because basically it was the long skinny strips of beef like they put in every other beef dinner and this dinner costs more than most of the others. They would not offer a refund they would not let me bring it back or provide credit. She said to have somebody else eat it. I asked for it to be made correctly with the steak cubes and shrimp as described.. Offered no resolution at all whatsoever, very poor business practice

Really wanted to like this place. Girl that answered was nice, but the food was a complete disappointment. The rice was orange and had absolutely no flavor. The chicken is white with no seasonings even after all the soy sauce I poured into it. I have never had fried rice be orange or not have any type of vegetables in it, no onions, sprouts, egg….. nothing. Just orange rice and white unseasoned chicken and beef. The price was up there for it to have been that bad. I attached a picture of the rice after i added soy sauce and it still looks sad.

The atmosphere is of a strip center food place where an employee’s work stuff covers one of the six tables. Not unexpected but does deserve a lower star.
I did like the orange chicken, but it is on the sweeter side. The egg rolls were very good. I did not care for the rice at all.

The service was good, but the sushi this time around was not. Everything tasted the same. No one cared about the presentation. It was like they rolled the spicy tuna around their hands to make a ball, then plopped it on top. I’ll go back to driving 20 miles for really good sushi.

We started coming here years ago since the one in momence went downhill. This last visit was different. No greeting when we walked in. Seemed like the person didn’t want to be there. The food has always been good, but not this time. The Szechuan chicken was bland, no seasoning. Tasted boiled. The sauce was the same. Watery with little to no flavor or spice. The teriyaki beef was very good. Just need more sauce. . I had to pan fry everything and add spice to get any flavor. Please do better. We drive extra to come to your business.

We have been going to this restaurant for many many years living in Beecher. There was a management shift of some sort about a year ago and I was disappointed as they got rid of a lot of the tofu dishes they had. Also, some of the other dishes just tasted different, not bad but to us not as good as the original owners. Tonight we decided to try the sushi as we really like sushi and prior management did not offer that. We were disappointed they did not have any edamame or the house salad available. But the rolls that we did get were pretty good. We were surprised they actually had soy paper available, and that they had tofu skins, which are really good. All the fish my husband had was good as well. Hopefully they keep these things on the menu and if so we will come back more.

I decided to give them another try. The broccoli chicken bowl was awesome, I even dined in this time. Food and service was great. Glad I gave you another try after the egg Foo young disaster.
