Great decades-long favorite food items. I love the chili cheeseburgers and onion rings. They don’t have an ice cream counter, which was a great dessert experience at the older Varsity. Otherwise, it was so much fun seeing grandparents introducing their young ones as Varsity clients. Plus families enjoying chili dogs, fries, etc!

Great food, awesome service, and wonderful fried pies. Always love stopping at the Varsity for some chili or slaw dogs.

Overall, the food was good and everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals. My experience was a bit mixed—I ordered a burger that came out cold, requested a remake, and unfortunately, the second one was also cold. The third burger was finally warm—not hot, but definitely better than the first two. My mom said her peach pie was cold and soft, seems to be baked instead of deep fried. On a positive note, the onion rings were excellent! Hoping this was just an off day.

Cmon now. My burger, sad little tiny thing that it was, had two bun bottoms for bread. Everything looks like they cooked it last month and left it out until someone ordered. I have yet to go to a Varsity that was anything more than unremarkable. The McDonald’s nearby is a better, and cheaper choice. This was almost $20. The customer service was great but the food is absolute trash.

Ok so it’s not a very big sitting area for the amount of large crowd entering/exiting the facility but the food is consistent with Varsity standards. Not fast like The Atlanta Varsity but man the fries were hot and delicious. Chek them out if you get a chance

Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The food isn’t the same as it used to be. Burgers and fries taste totally different.

Fries and Onion Rings were cold and had obviously been sitting for a while. Staff was friendly and made fresh rings but they never should have been served that way in the first place.

Store was very dirty, floor had food and trash and leaves all over it. Tables needed cleaning. Most of the staff was just standing around talking when they should-could have been cleaning up.

Just one man’s opinion.

The chil chessedog tast better than the double cheeseburger the hotdogs are smaller than back in the late 70s & 80’s I know everything changes through the years but I think everything was better back then

My food was good. My wife’s slaw dogs looked disgusting. Like it was vomit on the hotdogs. It was liquid with chunks. I don’t eat slaw but I know it’s not supposed to be like that.

Stop by out of nostalgia really. Got a double chili cheese hamburger, chili cheese slaw dog, and frosted orange. It was tasty, but probably did not measure up to the memory I had embellished in my own mind. I was a little disappointed with the size of the hamburger for the price, but that seems to be the case everywhere now. This is not a criticism of the varsity, but I probably will not go back anytime soon. Cheaper just to make my own much more substantial hamburgers at home.
