First let me say that their BBQ is good. What we ordered was a decent size and got you full. Now for the bad part. We spent a few minutes asking for things on the menu that they didn’t have like potato salad and the burgers so the ladies with me ordered BBQ sandwiches. They were good and filling but one of them came out with no sauce so we had to go back . Then I had to come back because there wasn’t any napkins. When I asked for napkins, the lady had to walk out to the camper to go get me some. I also ordered baked beans that were refrigerator cold. Finally they ran out of the drinks I wanted and I had to exchange one of my drinks out.
I love supporting local, small businesses. That’s a big thing for me. I prefer taking my family to a new experience over the same old fast food places. That being said, when I spend 40 bucks in a place I expect a level of service I didn’t get. They were prepared for customers and it seemed like it was normal for them to be out of things or not have them readily available. I would suggest making sure you’re stocked up and ready to serve

I saw the sign of the smoked meatloaf driving by. It attracted me and I decided to make a u-turn and came back for it.
But unfortunately there was only pulled pork and beef brisket available. I was very upset and wanted to taste the place with 3-4 starts describing my issue. But after I tried what I ordered, I can’t give this place less than 5 stars review.

The best Kentucky BBQ food and experience. Meeting the chef and talking all things BBQ was a bonus. The meatloaf was delicious as was the pulled pork sandwich. If you want brisket, call ahead to book our check they have it available. Thoroughly recommend Pitstop! Some of the best we have had yet!

Started coming here in the spring and I have nothing but good things to say. They even help out a few families here and there during the holidays. Stop by and check these guys out. I recommend the smoked bologna sandwich or the brisket plate with baked beans. Fried catfish is also very good but they don’t have it all the time. His fried pies have caused me to gain probably 25 pounds but that’s fine.

It would be nice to be warned that the fried pies would be pulled from the fridge and wrapped up. Was a bit disappointed that they were cold. Really expected it to be at the very least warm. Not only that they charged us 22 dollars for 2 burgers and 2 fried pies and then shorted us the change.
