It’s a great place for a first date but it’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends.

It really is a wonderful life at Zuzu’s Petals. This wine bar is amazing, the coziest atmosphere and the friendliest staff that are so accommodating they treat you like family. Not noisy like Barcelona Wine Bar and feels like home with the candles and flowers at each table. Whether you’re here to celebrate a friend’s bday or a romantic date, this is the spot!

Cozy and intimate spot with a good variety of wine options that seem to change often. Make sure you get reservations because there aren’t a lot of tables. There are some small snack options like a cheese board, and deserts, too. The creme brulee and chocolate cake are really tasty!

This place could have easily been my favorite date spot in the city. No notes on the food or the wine; all excellent. But a 5% “kitchen” fee, when > half your menu is wine? That’s absurd. Price your items appropriately and honestly; junk fees are gross.

We went for the desserts and they were impeccable, chef’s kiss!
Food: The tiramisu had a deep coffee taste that made our eyes light up and the apple crumble was a perfect fruity complement to go back and forth with.
Service/Atmospshere: Finally the atmosphere was very cozy and intimate making it great for date night. But one thing you can’t control unfortunately is the noise from other patrons. The small cozy shop quickly turns into an echo chamber with one noisier table. Regardless, the shop delivers on its promise of good desserts and an intimate screen-free evening.

This lovely spot is a modern throwback, the opposite of the ubiquitous large sterile restaurant full of people looking at their phones. Service is friendly and personable, the wine selection is fantastic and unique, and the desserts are every bit as good as you would hope they would be. Especially the crème brûlée! It’s casually chic, cozy, fun, and I wish I was there right now!
