We loved Second Bar. I was concerned. Now, excited. A great transformation with a fantastic menu. Lots of unique options and great flavors. Who needs to DFW for dinner ? No one. It’s here in Mineral Wells.

We went in for steaks to be told that they were out me and my friend were about to leave when the bartender angelica mentioned something about the chef preparing lamb chops. So we stayed, and it was probably one of the best meals. If not the best meal i’ve ever raked my life. But it was also one of the most expensive games i’ve ever eaten in my life. Let me I be clear.I am not complaining

Went for the Valentines Day Dinner. All the food was excellent. The carpaccio was a new experience for us and it was wonderful. it was crowded but it was not noisy at all. Our waiter, Tyler did a great job. Great experience.

We went for our 11yr. anniversary last night. We tried quite a few things. It was all amazing! Beef cheek with whipped sweet potatoes, half chicken with mushrooms and risotto, pimento cheese tater tots, Caesar salad, sweetbreads, toffee pudding and a hot chocolate dessert I can remember the name of. Everything was excellent! Me the Chef and he was a pleasure and very accommodating! Go there now!

I have been here three times now & from the host stand to the table it was amazing every time! Cole was our waiter this time and his banter/service was top tier! The staff as a whole seems to be committed to a great customer experience, the food is arguably the best in town. 10/10 will be back in the future!

We have been waiting for the opening and it did not disappoint. Wonderful atmosphere at a timeless restaurant in the lobby of this grand, beautifully restored hotel.
We are huge fans of Chef Rishel and will travel to any restaurant to dine with him. He has put together an incredible menu with some of his staples and many surprises. I’m not listing everything we tried but I will say it was all fantastic! His staff was friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive. Definitely made the evening special.
This is an hour from home and an easy get away trip. We will be back soon and often!

We had a delicious variety of drinks, starters, main dishes, and desserts. All was delicious and we especially liked the crispy Brussels sprouts, Gorgonzola cauliflower, pimento cheese tater tots, fonduta, and the extraordinary sticky toffee pudding dessert. Yummy! Reasonably priced for this level of food service. Good job chef! Our waiter (Brian) was super helpful and smiled a lot as well!

We’ve eaten at Oak & Third several times for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and have always left fully satisfied and with a to-go box for the leftovers that we couldn’t bear to leave behind. On our latest brunch, we shared the eggs Benedict with a Texas twist. OMG! The base was a fluffy, extra large jalapeño-cheddar biscuit, topped with a generous slab of smoked brisket, and then crowned with two perfectly poached eggs and creamy, tangy hollandaise sauce. If you are in for lunch, I highly recommend the Durrty South Burger (ask for extra napkins!), and for dinner, the Tomahawk Pork Chop with garlic/truffle fries. Pork chops can be tricky – often overcooked and dry – but Chef Stefon has perfected the chop! If you are into cocktails, the Bloody Mary was perfectly spicy and bold. We will be regulars here and will ask for our server, Cole, who is friendly and knowledgable about the menu. And, BTW, if you are traveling with a dog, the restaurant allows pets on the patio – very convenient for us as we have a service dog who accompanies us everywhere.
