The food here is incredible and reasonably priced. They make some of the best burritos I’ve had. The steak and fried pork belly is also amazing – highly recommend the Columbian plate. This place is homey and unpretentious, but has some of the best food I’ve had in the area.

We ordered a little bit of everything on the latin side and it didn’t disappoint. We are in trouble because the food was INCREDIBLE! In summary while they have a huge menu we decided to focus on the latin dishes and loved them. We ordered the flautas ( corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and chicken fried to be crispy), pupusas ( one stuffed with pork and cheese the other with beans and cheese) and then bandeja montanero (colombian typical plate) an assortment of an amazing medley ( skirt steak, chicharrones, white rice, black beans, fried egg, ripe plantains). These were three quality dishes and the people working there were very nice and had the food completed in the quoted time frame. We already can’t wait to order again and try something else.

Placed an order online, showed up at the time that was recommended for me. I was asked if I am picking up an order and the woman says to me it’s going to be 10 mins. She seemed flustered because they had not prepared my order yet. Now I like hot food but I don’t like having to waste my already short break waiting for my food to cook in front of me. Also cups fell on the floor in front of me but when I handed them to her instead of Throwing them away she put them in the back til I left to bring them back out to use. My order was to be ready at 12:56pm but they lost my ticket tried giving me someone else’s order. And now at 1:16 they are making my order. I have wasted my whole break and spent 30 mins waiting for my food. The worse part is if it was just for me I would have left. But it’s for me and a coworker. I ended up leaving with my food at 1:26pm. It took 40 minutes to make my food in front of me.
Another thing I noticed is that online I paid about 2 dollars more per item than in the paper menu they have available to everyone.
I do not know what the food tastes like, I know these women are working hard but it is the principle of owning a restaurant.
Edit #2:
I don’t accept your response as an owner because when I came in they were working on 2 other orders. One of which should have been mine. The women Heather’s order was made by the correct time given to door dash (which is the order they tried to hand me). I posted a screen shot. I arrived at the store at 12:51pm, asked for my name, told them my name – and they still tried to hand me the wrong food. So when i told them my name they had to search for my ticket (which was on the floor) Granted if I left the store at 1:06 with my food it would have been different but I had to wait an addition 30 mins in person. As for the chicarron, it was just fried pork – it should be fried pork belly that is crunchy, my chicarron does not look like other people’s reviews. It was just plain pork, and the sweet plantains weren’t fried long enough to have the caramilzation. Overall it was a waste of $40 for the food (which included a tip) and then an additional 20 minutes of my wage because being there EXTENDED past my break. Next time I crave my island food I will be trying Oasis down the road instead.

My dearest Carlos introduced me to papusas and curtido, and I eat them in his honor. I LOVE papusas con Loroco (el Salvadorian flower buds) and I can get them here fresh and toasty!
No stairs, wide spaces, easy-to-open door, and accessible bathroom.
The best papusa I’ve had. Utterly delicious, with locations in West Roxbury and in Norwood.

Excellent food. The service was great. The pupisas are very tasty. The only thing is that the prices to order online are different than at the restaurant. Online one pupusa has a price of $4.75, but in the menu, it shows it at $3.50. Something for the owner or manager to look into. Other than that, I 100% recommend this restaurant.

The food is phenomenal! The Tres leches cake is excellent. It just sucks that the typical Colombian plate is expensive so i treat myself hear and there but if it was cheaper i be here everyday no lie.. but other than that the staff is very nice and good to have Spanish restaurant down the street lol.
Keep up the good FooD! 🙂

They have everything including American, Italian and typical Latin food on their menu. Portions are VERY generous and delicious . It’s a family run business and the friendly owner, Freddy, is always there to answer questions and give suggestions. They’ve been open just a short time, but I’ve been there often and have been impressed each time.

We like the Típico Salvadoreño in West Roxbury so we came here to try this one out. I had shrimp tacos. I was being picky like no raw onions and they were really nice about it and offered replacements. My husband got pupusas and they were juicy lol A good amount of filling and very flavorful. He got cheese, bean and cheese, and loroco. The horchata and jugo de maracuyá were refreshing ☀️
