My family and I were in Stroudsburg for the day today and were looking for good pizza in the area for Lunch. A Google search took us to Fred’s NY Pizzeria. We were looking to sit and rest a bit while we ate, and his small restaurant fit our family of 5 just right. The guy working there (I’m assuming Fred?) was incredibly friendly and polite. My kids were amazed watching him work our pizza dough, and he put on a great show with the tossing of it, much to their delight. We were eating in no time, and the pie was absolutely delicious! The icing on the cake was when the gentleman surprised us with a complimentary order of garlic knots. It was my kids’ first time eating knots, and they were not disappointed. Overall, our experience there today was what you want from a small, mom and pop pizzeria experience: a bright smile, exceeding friendliness, and superb food. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, and we’ll definitely be back whenever we find ourselves in the area again!
