Very good experience, cashier made awesome suggestions as well as a fun time for my kids. My wife and kids all enjoyed their ice cream and I enjoyed my chocolate shake. Very reasonable prices as well. Awesome food as well if you and your family are looking for a place to eat supper. Norfolk to Pierce and back on a Friday night was well worth the drive.

We had heard good things about J’s place and decided to make the drive out from Norfolk.
The gal at the counter was not friendly whatsoever, and could probably tell we were looking for a menu. She offered no help and stared at us blankly. When we finally came across a menu, we ordered and took a seat.
After the food came, we realized we didn’t receive the ranch cup that was asked for while ordering. Both my husband and son went up 2 seperate times, but, the gal from the counter was in the back and neither were helped.
As we were finishing, there were a couple of young teen girls who had come from the pool, still wearing their swim suits and wet hair down. They ordered and helped themselves to behind the counter, making up their own ice creams.
The food was OK, service was terrible. I would recommend to your staff (if they are off the clock) it is so unsanitary to go back into food service areas like that. If those girls were not staff, well, you definitely have some teachable moments ahead.

I heard it was the best place for food in town it turns out it is! Food was warm when it arrived to my door, I didn’t wait very long! The ice cream was great I fully recommend the ice cream and the homemade fries aswell! I feel the price was at point with what I bought! I want to say thank you J’s Place for the wonderful food! Would recommend anyone to you guys for a restaurant joint to eat at!

Nice, small place in town. Very small sitting space, and with it being one of the places on the Nebraska passport, it was very crammed when we went on Saturday. The food tasted good, and we loved that the tots were Tetris shaped, but we waited almost an hour for our food- even though we were maybe the third couple in there and the big groups were after us. The prices are also a little bit more expensive then what I thought it would be.

Amazing place, tucked away in Pierce. They take check, cash, card. Staff is beyond kind and informative. The Pierce Pounder is a formidable foe as well; best of luck to all who try. Will definitely be back and tell everyone I know to come. Thanks for the awesome experience!

These are real burgers and fries that are really loaded and so much so that we have a new favorite place to eat and the ice cream is loaded and you can have all kinds of goodies in it at no charge. Everyone is so friendly. we love going there!

Found this place from the Nebraska passport. I was astounded at how small it was. Doesn’t have to be big to have a huge punch though. Planned our day to get lunch here. Was not disappointed. Had a cheese frenchie and tetris tots. Cooked to perfection. I really wanted to try some of the ice cream. Almost any ice cream you can imagine, they even have a challenge here. If you are ever in the area, stop by, absolutely worth it.
