When you’re hungry, it’s hard to parse out if a restaurant is truly good or it’s just your appetite. Quality of the food here was superb. The appetizers were fantastic. Decent meal portions. The warm, fresh bread was phenomenal. Really enjoyed the yogurt dip. Mixed grill was quite good.

Awesome relatively new spot for Turkish and Mediterranean food. This owner is the same as a few other spots around Pittsburgh which are all great. I got to try their chicken Adana, white sauce, haydari, and chocolate baklava.
Everything was great and super, super fresh. I loved the chicken Adana. Juicy meat, super well seasoned, hint of spice, but not excessive. Very solid portion as well. Rice was fluffy, vegetables were crisp and well charred, with some pickled vegetables on the side as well. Very generous and flavorful. And the white sauce is nice too.
The haydari was also very good. Creamy and a pretty good portion. The bread it came with was amazing, super fluffy and went excellently with the yogurt.
Finally, the chocolate baklava. Also really quite good but I think I do prefer the regular baklava or other more traditional desserts over this one. Still, very nice, and an all around amazing restaurant.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. Good wine. Clean tables and quiet music that doesn’t disturb your conversation. Family member accidentally left their phone on a table and an employee kindly ran out after us to hand it over. Would definitely recommend.

I came here with a group of friends for dinner and we were all impressed. We started with a large mixed appetizer which was delicious and good for sharing with our group of 6. I highly recommend the lamb mixed grill or beyti kebab as a main entree. We ended with baklava which was a great way to finish our meal.

An impromptu stop on a long trip, we found this gem on a narrow street, and highly recommend. Its worth dodging the parking, traffic and any other obstacles to enjoy this place.
Staff was attentive and prompt with a warm greet to a grateful finish. The food was delicious. Great classic and adapted Mediterranian flavors! (Loved the parsley in the fallafel!) Would go again if in the city.

We had lunch at this restaurant, open for four months. While street parking can be a problem, the restaurant is well worth a visit. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. We had a vegetarian meal but the meat and fish dishes looked excellent. Everything was made with fresh ingredients. The host is friendly and the food was served nicely. If you like Mediterranean food, this is a must go to restaurant.

Istanbloom located in Bloomfield. Tried the variety mix of appetizers, served with fresh bread. The hummus was good, the falafel was freshly made. I also tried the mixed grill. My favorites were the lamb Adana and lamb chops, the rice was good too.

Very good food, definitely the Mediterranean aspect my family and I were looking for. Everything was beautifully seasoned and delicious, not a dry herb in sight. The falafels were fresh, the salad was fantastic, the lamb and chicken were both well cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The flan and chocolate baklava were a perfect finish. Definitely would come back, great for lunch or dinner!

Perfectly cooked tender lamb, wrapped in soft flatbread, rich buttery tomato sauce, and beautifully balanced creamy yogurt. Every bite reflects true craftsmanship. Finished with smoky grilled peppers and flawless rice — not just a meal, but a true kebab experience
