Wasabi is a delicious sushi and Asian fusion spot that exceeded my expectations. I was staying at the DoubleTree and was pleasantly surprised to find it just across the parking lot. My standards for sushi are high, and both rolls I tried, the Scorpion and the Godzilla, were excellent in freshness, flavor, and presentation.
The atmosphere isn’t that of a high-end restaurant, but it’s peaceful, comfortable, and has good lighting. Service was excellent as well, attentive without being intrusive. Honestly, with the quality of the food, I’m surprised it wasn’t busier.
Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely return to try more rolls.

I was pleasantly surprised with the lunch special. The sushi rolls are easily some of the best I’ve had, great quality and value. The house salad was fresh and tasty too. I’d definitely come back again for the sushi!

Delicious sushi! Good happy hour menu. Clean place. Good service. Seating is awkward because it’s a super open room with close-together tables and shared extra-long booths. I felt like i was sitting with the people at the table next to us. We listened to their conversation through our whole dinner instead of having our own. I mean, they were approx 2 ft away from us. I thought about asking to move but nowhere looked any more private. At such high prices I expected a bit less of a fast food dining room experience

1st time. Nice tucked away spot. The fisherman roll was delicious! I also ordered the shrimp hibachi. The soup & salad were okay. The fried rice was bland. The shrimp & veggies were very good.

We made reservations for 4 on a Thursday evening. This place was pretty nice, small but nice. It was not busy. The food and options were great. I only wanted sushi, my friends both got hibachi which looked tasty as well. The sushi took some time to come out but that’s pretty standard at most places. I had to ask for refills which is ok for me, not ideal, but I’m ok with it. my experience with the sushi was great I enjoyed all of the rolls I asked for.

Really good sushi. Great service. Been going the whole time consistently. A few other things are good but it’s simple and fresh quality sushi that keeps me going back. Hope it stays open forever

Was in the Memphis area for the afternoon and felt like trying out a new sushi place for lunch. If you have picky eaters that either won’t eat sushi or raw fish this is a good option because they have plenty of cooked sushi and hibachi style options. The sushi lunch special is reasonably priced and you get two 6-piece maki rolls, miso soup, and a small side salad. The two rolls of my choice were the spicy crunchy crab and avocado & salmon. Both were flavorful, however, a few of mine fell apart while I was dipping them in soy sauce. The edamame, as always, were delicious and I really enjoyed the dressing the use on their salad. Everyone else in my party also enjoyed their visit and the server was incredibly nice and prompt with drinks and table clearing. Overall a great visit and I would happily come again!

Sushi here is okay. I had salmon roll and chicken katsu. Flavor was good and the pricing was okayy. I would give the place 3 star but it’s not fair if I compared the rating with California Sushi place. Staff is really friendly and they will take care of you whatever you need.

Nice cozy environment with free parking, not too crowded. Food was very good and service pretty quick. Price was reasonable especially for Classic and Special rolls. All rolls come in 6 pieces each. The spicy salmon and tuna rolls were fantastic. The only thing that was underwhelming was the fried rice.

Prompt and quality service… Well cooked food! Egg Rolls are super delish and cute (hence why they aren’t pictured because I ate them so quick)! ☺️ I’ll def be back and bringing my fiancee next time.
