Really good. We’ve tried a bunch of the hole-in-the-wall Chinese places in Albany, and we were glad to find this one. Very tasty food, well cooked rice, nice range of options, price is a little expensive but.. where isn’t, nowadays?

Feb, 7 2026, I decided to try a different Chinese restaurant because of a higher rating on Google. The food wasn’t nearly as good/flavorful, the portion sizes were smaller and it cost more than my usual go to place for Chinese food in Albany. The hot & sour soup was bland with no evidence of spiciness. The combination fried rice and the shrimp fried rice was also flavorless with much less shrimp and other meats that I’m accustomed to. I noticed a few very small pieces of what appeared to be chicken, no pork, no beef in the combination fried rice. Lastly, the beef with broccoli did not come with rice and the broccoli was overcooked. And the egg rolls weren’t crispy on the outside and were bland like everything else. At least I tried something different. But I highly doubt I will order from here again. My husband mentioned that the appearance was nicer.

The food was pretty good. We were the only ones dining in that day, so it was pretty quiet. The staff wasn’t too welcoming, though, which was the only downside. Not a deal breaker but not sure I will go back next time I’m in town.

Wanted to try something new. Did a take out order. Lady didn’t ask for name when placed order, which I thought was odd. Husband went to go pick up, he said there was no one there.
We got the dinner special, general Tso and pork lo mein.
Didn’t seem like much food.
The rice doesn’t look like fried rice and there was none to no chicken in it.
Not much flavor to the food, I had to add lots of soy sauce to it, which I only got 2 packets of.
Will not be returning.

I ordered the General Tso’s chicken with rice and egg roll. It came as a combo.They are better than most of the places in Albany. I would visit again. I’m trying all the Chinese restaurants in town to see who is the best. They are pretty good and give lots of food.

This is my all time favorite Chinese Restaurant in Albany. The food always taste fresh and I love the family that owns it. I wish they had bao buns and steamed dumplings but that’s just because I love them ❤️❤️ Definitely check them out
