It has been two years since the grand opening of this place, the quality of food is at least as good as they used to be. Although I missed the milky favor they had on the fried rice of the hibachi set, the quality and quantity of other dishes still makes me constantly finding myself here.

Very bed food, old and frozen edamame
,Beef was cover with unrecognisable sauce, hard as a rock! Rice was ok, soup was ice cold, and I was the only person at the restaurant..

This review is solely on the chicken katsu curry, I haven’t tried anything else on the menu. I’ve had my share of chicken katsu curry and I won’t say this is the worst but it’s definitely on the lower end of “mid.” I guess it’s buy one get one free for a reason… Let’s start with the curry.. Pretty watery for my tastes, zero spice and I’d say the quality was lower than that of box curry where someone followed the instructions to a T, Bland. Onto the chicken katsu, it was fried pretty well I’ll give them that, but the chicken itself is about as thin as the chopsticks they gave me, maybe thinner. The breading wasn’t kicked up with any seasonings either, just basic panko. The chicken itself was a cheap, dry, and thin cut of meat. Still valid protein though I guess. Can’t complain too much about the rice but it’s not high quality nor is it some low quality minute rice, it’s just mid. If you’re buying the chicken katsu curry for the quantity with the buy one get one free deal its alright, if you’re buying for quality though.. this ain’t it. Get your tastebuds checked if you think this is good!

When we came in, there was nobody inside. The chairs were all up and we sat on a dirty table which they did not even bother to clean upon our arrival. There was no heat and it was really cold inside and the plates were dusty/not clean. We went there for the skewers and the food was alright, nothing special. There was a weird sauce that was overpowering and overwhelmingly salty on the chicken skewers. The enoki bacon skewer was super salty with random pieces of pork belly in it. The lamb and beef skewers were not bad and the fried calamari was lightly fried along with something that resembled ChickFila sauce. They didn’t have a working credit card machine and we had to zelle them. We got six orders for around $45.

This has long been one of my favorite spots for food, but it feels like the pandemic altered the feel to used to have. I remember it being more of a sit-down place with a few servers on hand, but as we’ve returned after a few years away, it’s best as a takeaway joint. Our last trip in the service was a little off as it seemed the front desk person wasn’t available for orders and the kitchen staff seemed to be waiting on us. It was a little bumpy throughout the afternoon but the food, tea, and dumplings were excellent as always. I guess I just hadn’t realized their business model changed, but it at least has not affected the food. I’d visit for takeaway again.

I adore this restaurant. They make the BEST bacon fried rice ever. My daughter doesn’t like ginger and they’re always kind about removing it from her meals. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. This restaurant is a must and will always have my business. Thank you.

You’re food is delicious.

Excellent hidden gem on the quiet end of Niagara falls boulevard in between Kenmore Ave and Sheridan. Always a good place to get some fast yakitori. Enoki with bacon are decently portion. The Xo fried rice had plenty of shrimp and imitation crab but was very filling and tasty. Wasabi shuma is nice and spicy.but highly recommend if you’re looking for a low-key Donburi yakitori place.

I have been ordering from 546 almost weekly for a while now, so I figured it’s finally time to write a review! I will say I’ve always ordered pickup, so I cannot comment on the dining-in experience, but the service is always quick and the woman running the front is so respectful and kind. I always order the chicken katsu curry, and while I saw another review saying it wasn’t good, I love it. I think they give you a lot of chicken for the price and the curry sauce has great flavor. I plan to continue coming here and I recommend you give them a try!

It makes me so sad to rate this a 1 bc Yakitori Donburi used to be my favorite but our meal tonight was inexcusable. The food took over 40 minutes to come out. It literally tasted like water. Wonton soup didn’t taste like broth, it tastes like water. The lemon sauce for the lemon chicken literally is yellow-dyed water. The coating on the lemon chicken was not crispy or flavorful, whatsoever. I have not been this disappointed in a dining experience in many many years. My husband and I ordered a ton of food bc this place used to be awesome and we wanted to have leftovers. Now we’re stuck with $100 worth of food that tastes like water. I’m actually pissed off at how bad this is.
