Monsoon 786!
Wow! Blown away by Ali’s Kitchen!! This was a trip down memory lane, a sweet nostalgic experience taking me back to the street food of Pakistan.
1) Lahore Chargha – Dry spice fried chicken soooo delicious, the spice level was on point!
2) Chicken and Beef Kebab – Served piping hot and fresh, I could devour dozens with all the condiments, packed full of flavor.
3) Chicken Tikka Leg – If you like Tandoori Chicken you will love this.
4) Goat Chops – OMG!! Fatty, Tender Juicy, this one is a winner.
Ali serves his food with Parathas or delicate Rumali Roti, perfect for mopping up all the flavors.
Moosa Colony has a vibe and if you’re in the mood for fresh South Asian BBQ this is the food truck to visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Thank you Ali’s Kitchen we’ll definitely be back! Keep up the good work

I waited to experience Ali’s kitchen twice to make sure the food was just as good as the first time. And boy was it DELICIOUS. Consistently fresh and delicious. The chef makes everything from scratch from the ginger garlic paste to his seasoning. We ordered sheek kabob, Lahori fish, and rumali roti. In the past I have tried goat chops and chicken tikka leg. Everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly spiced. I can’t handle heat and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my food here. Honestly, I rather come here than some of the other places in moosa colony. That’s how yummy it was. Also, Ali uncle is a vibe. His passion for food and delicious recipes is evident when you try his food.

Literally just finished eating what was a phenomenal chicken meal Alhamdulillah. We had the lamb tikka, lahori chargha and the wings and I am absolutely blown away by the flavor profile. Cooked to perfection. My new favorite chicken spot. Keep it up gentlemen, and ladies if involved. You are in my prayers.

Hate to share how good this place is because he was already out of a few menu items by the time I got there. To be fair, it was pretty late. The clear winner was the beef seekh kabob with the paratha. There was talk of the lamb chops rivaling Aga’s, so I definitely recommend those as well. The chicken tikkas were cooked to perfection. I will need to go back soon to try the wings and the murgh cholay. I’ve had the haleem here on a previous visit, it was also a hit. Service is excellent. The vibes feel like Pakistan (I haven’t been there in many years, but still lol).

Amazing food and amazing barbecue. Meat is so tender and juicy and flavor is all the way to the bones, will strongly recommend eating food over here.

The portion size is extremely small compared to the price. I ordered chicken tikka leg and it was a very small portion. The taste was good, but definitely the portion size is extremely small.

This food truck is fantastic! I went with friends, and we all loved it. The Chicken Tikka, Aloo kheema, and wings were absolutely super – full of flavor and served fresh and hot. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly. Ali Bhai was so welcoming and you can see how much he loves his art of cooking authentic Lahori food. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back!

You will not find a better Lahori style barbecue in all of Houston. We got the chicken tikka, beef seekh kabab and chargha. Everything was fresh and tasteful. A great char on the outside with tender flavorful meat inside.

Incredibly well cooked traditional food (I believe it’s Pakistani cuisine). Food was well seasoned and fresh. The guy running the truck was friendly and by the way he talks and cooks you can tell he takes pride in his work. If there is a rush of people seating will be limited but all in all. I have no complaints. Good food and great service
