This coffee shop Cafe is a gem! Staff is so welcoming & friendly. The coffee is absolutely amazing!! It’s a must stop whenever in town. We ordered off the monthly special flavors. I ordered the hot Caramel Nut Mocha & my daughter had the Butterbeer Latte. Delicious! They also have homemade goodies & novelty items for sale.

Very friendly family owned coffee shop. The Columbian blend was great and I had a chocolate chunk cappuccino muffin, that they warmed up for me with butter. It was fabulous! Great Internet connection and it was a great place to get some work done. Will definitely stop by again.

I went to Java for the first time with my dad before preschool when I was really little. That being one of my first memories, it had always held a special place in my heart and not once has it let me down since. Java has a fantastic atmosphere to eat their delicious food in. They’re incredibly friendly and always make you feel at home, and comfortable. This cafe is one that will always keep me coming back to Montevideo.

My daughter and I have been excited to try this fun looking cafe! The food was delicious but the customer service was a bit concerning. The cook delivering our food literally scolded my daughter for taking a marshmallow from the cocoa bar. However, the toppings were not specified for cocoa bar only. We each ordered a large coffee, bowl of soup and sandwich. Lots of places offer special treats during the holiday season. We did not feel the spirit of Christmas after this experience!

Such a lovely spot to go! The workers are the absolute BEST!! Food and drinks are so good! They also have little goodies that people make and they can sell there! They also display art work of students. They have a nice spot to sit and you could easily get work done and even read. They all bake together like a family and such an amazing team, you can tell just by the way they are! The nicest place ever!!
