Called to place an order for 45 pieces of chicken a pan of salad and a party sub, 30 hours in advance and was told unable because Halloween is the busiest day of the year… doesn’t seem like to large of a order to accomplish in with that kind of notice.

pizza was premium price but was average quality. i might not be a sophisticated foodie but ive had pizza in many states and this place was worse than a bargain place i have been to. thought it would be a local mom and pop place but they price their pizzas on par with giordanos. service was horrible. told me 45 minute wait for my pizza and then the guy had a weird nonverbal tone to the way he handed me my change when i paid for my pizza. and i was polite so whqt does that say about this guy? could have been an off day who knows.

Staff not the friendliest, but not mean. We got the sheet pizza and asked for it well done, but was regular bake and kind of doughy. Not horrible pizza, just not the best. Solid spot but nothing amazing.

Tried this place for the first time last night, because our usual pizza place has really been striking out lately. I was impressed with the whole experience! A super polite and friendly person took my order and food arrived in less time than they said it would. The pizza was really tasty and great crust. Flavorful and delicious chicken and jojo potatoes. It was also really affordable. A four piece chicken, potatoes and slaw was $12. We were able to get that + 2 small specialty pizzas for under $50 bucks with delivery. We will definitely be ordering again.

I really hate to be this way, but I do not like the “new” Breading they are using for their broasted chicken. A family friend ordered it for a party and it was noticeably more spicy than normal; so much so that we thought they accidentally gave them spicy chicken instead of the regular Breading. Unfortunately, I ordered 65 pieces for a child’s birthday party. When I picked up the order, I casually mentioned the spice of the Breading. The cashier said they had a new recipe and it is spicy compared to the old Breading.
I’m sad because Pelicano’s has been our go-to for years. Not everyone wants chicken with spicy Breading on it, especially when you are ordering it for kid’s parties!

Can not say enough positive things! I work for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, and we hosted a large scale event this past week that was catered by Pelicano’s. Due to a catering snafu we called Pelicano’s last minute on the recommendation of one of our staff that had used them for a small party. When I spoke to the staff, they were wonderful. They helped me decide how much food was appropriate for the amount of people expected. In addition to being extremely helpful, their pricing was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we received. On the night of the event, we had an influx of attendees and found ourselves short on food. When I called them to see what else we could order on short notice, they were so accommodating, fast and sincere on the phone in a moment of panic – truly so grateful to have worked with a small business that was so lovely and kind.

I have lived in the area for a while, but just tried Pelicanos for the first time the other day. I really enjoyed the food. We just got a couple of pizzas, but they were both very good. There was nothing fancy about the pizza, but it hits the spot if you are looking for a standard, take-out pizza. The sauce and crust were both very good and made it stand above some other places.
