The food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. I travel to Japan often and have spent a lot of money on yakiniku there, but honestly, this was even better.
A special mention goes to Chester, who looked after us so well. He explained each cut of meat in detail, recommended the best order to enjoy them, and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. Anyone who has worked in hospitality knows how demanding it is to deal with people every day, and I truly admired his professionalism and energy. He has such a warm, outgoing personality. If I had to describe it, he is like a golden retriever in human form. If Chester is not the owner, the boss should do everything possible to keep a staff member like him.
This restaurant is truly obsessed with the details in the best way. We ordered cold soba, and instead of serving it whenever it was ready, they thoughtfully served the meat first so the noodles would not go soggy, then prepared the soba at exactly the right time. That level of care really stood out.
Not only Chester, but all of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. It was a meal that felt truly worth every dollar, and we are already planning to come back again next week.

Edit: came back with a larger group, tried the Tako Kara-age (Yum) and shio kombu cabbage (Umamy & addictive). Didn’t mind the Wagyu beef tataki but the texture was not my favourite. Prefer their fresh Wagyu beef for bbq best.

Service is another standout. Jay and the team are exceptionally attentive, meeting every request with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism. Their dedication elevates the entire dining experience.
Some of the very best oysters one can possibly indulge in. Super fresh, Super friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere makes each visit memorable, try the Hibiki with seafood takes the dining experience to another level.
An outstanding showcase of locally sourced produce and thoughtful hospitality. Keep up the amazing work — this place truly deserves the praise.
