Orders pickup from DoorDash. My food was ready within about 25 minutes, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, while everything looked amazing, the taste did not quite live up to the presentation.
The shrimp was extremely salty, and I am someone who normally does not mind salt at all, but this was a lot. The size of the shrimp was nice though, so that was a plus. The catfish was also over-salted, but not nearly as bad as the shrimp, so it was more tolerable.
The seafood pasta tasted good overall, but it was not what I expected. It was pretty minimal, and there were barely any veggies. Could you not, there were two tiny pieces of bell pepper in the whole entire pasta which was very disappointing because this whole plate was nothing but carbs and protein.
After seeing so much hype about this place on TikTok, I really thought it was going to be a hit, but I do not think I will be back after this visit. If you are someone who is sensitive to salt/sodium, I definitely would NOT recommend this spot.

All I can say is WOW!! Portions are HUGE and the flavors explode in your mouth. I ordered the Big Back Nasty Dog and the Big Easy. The Big Back Nasty Dog was so delicious. The hot dog alone was huge, bursting with flavor and the chili is 10/10. My next visit I ordered the Big Easy, with its gently sweet and savory sauce the meat just fell off the bone. Let’s not forget the pasta which is also flavor packed and perfectly cooked. 10/10 all the way around.

They give you ALOT of food!!!. Food came out fresh and Hot! I order the fish and pasta, big burger, fries, wings and egg rolls. All came out HOT!. THE fish and pasta was very good. The egg roll was a lil salty but still good 7/10. The burger was BIG….i mean B.I.G big and very good. Fries had too much cajun seasoning on them and the wings was good

Big Back’s Cajun Kitchen in Atlanta is a must-visit! The flavors are bold & authentic. I tried the Big Back Combo (fried catfish, shrimp & seafood pasta) and the Bourbon Chicken Pasta..both were perfectly seasoned and packed with Cajun flavor. The portions are generous, the seafood is fresh, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Cajun classics with a twist, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The fish greasy with no seasoning and croissant a lil on the burnt side. I had to come home and make my own eggs. My egg on the right and there’s on the left. We’re visiting from New Orleans and kept hearing about Big Back Restaurant in Atlanta—so we had to stop by and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Big Back meal with two pieces of fish, pasta, fries, and fried shrimp… and let me tell you, it was a 10 out of 10! The flavors were on point, everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right. The portions were generous, and the vibe was welcoming. If you’re ever in the Atlanta area, do yourself a favor and check them out. Highly recommended!

My daughter raved about them, that I must go! So I did. The food was tasty & the portions nice; but I must agree with one of the other reviews, it was a bit salty, and I too add salt to my food. If you visit, just ask them to scale back on the salt. Overall, it was tasty (and other then salt), it was seasoned well. I added another potato to combat the salt & I enjoyed it! I would go back again!

Today I had to return to big back to let them know they gave me a bad potato for my loaded baked potato with salmon for my 8 year old. I ended up eating it bc my daughter didn’t want it and it had me throwing up and pooping all night long. Long story short, the young lady at the cash register was helpful and relayed the message to the cooks. Two men, 1 slim and brown skin, the other light with facial tat. They both came from the kitchen to see my pictures and video of the rotten/bad potato and the slim guy told me I was basically lying and that’s not them. He was very confrontational saying all their potato’s are good and that’s not them. One of them also said “why is it soggy looking like that” I explain to them I ran it under water to see why it tasted bad & that’s what it was. He was just rude and was like well okay what did you get, rung it up at the register and went to the kitchen. He then came back to the front and asked the lady in the front to look at the potato to confirm it wasn’t rotten (being slightly extra on purpose) and they 2 men continued to say things about how it wasn’t them ect. I’m a loyal customer and I told them I wouldn’t lie , they basically made me beg them to believe me!! I ended up telling them I didn’t even want it anymore because the energy was just disgusting.
The slim guy is definitely going to hurt the business, he is hostile, the picture of him arguing with people that was sitting outside the establishment. He was very unprofessional, rude & just bad for business. I didn’t want to leave a review like this because the owner is great and I’ve never received bad service or food when she’s there but the way the staff decided to handle this situation is the reason why I will not be back or will not recommend . It’s unfortunate that people spend time and hard earned money to create businesses and the people they hire will absolutely run it in the ground because they feel so entitled…
