We had a birthday party for our 3 year old at the Clayton location this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect! They understood my vision and let the kids have a make your own pizza party. The staff was absolutely incredible with having a party of 15 3-year-olds. We always knew the food here was delicious, but the behind the scene staff truly makes this place worth coming back to!

Food was very good and was well presented. A tad on the salty side, but that’s on me. They offer a great selection of authentic Italian dishes besides amazing pizza. We ate in and had the chicken parm, which was 10/10. We also had the veal Saltimbocca, which was to die for. Service staff presented the dishes in a very professional manner and were very attentive. Take out options are just as good. Definitely worth a try.

Sent the photos to Door Dash, so I don’t have the photos to prove. I ordered 3 hot dishes and 1 dessert. The hot dishes were stacked one on top of the other. When I finally got my order, all three orders had plastic covers and the covers on the bottom two were melted into the entrees. Before eating we had to peel the melted plastic from the top layer of the meal. Even eating, we still bit into plastic. We were disappointed, because we’ve had Anthony’s food before and they’re very good. Please consider different types of covers when delivering hot food. PLEASE.

I was listening to a fella at Clayton Guns ( an employee) who was talking about certain Italian food and after making me hungry I had to know what he was talking about. He mentioned a restaurant in Clayton called Anthony’s Pizza and Pasta. Well after finishing my business I went to this place highly mentioned. At first when I pulled up to the establishment it reminded me of other pizza joints throughout Clayton,Smithfield and Garner. Some good and others well…nothing to write home about. Big Mistake … Anyway I went in and after ordering my meal I got a totally different vibe. EXCELLENT Food, and service. Don’t know why I never heard of this place before maybe because it’s between two other restaurants. Trust this though this ain’t my last time going to this great truly Italian Pizzeria. Next time I will bring my wife and taste other selections. I had the Large Lasagna which OMG I would recommend to the Pope. All was prepared and seasoned perfectly. Price was right and I look forward to my next visit. By the Way, this place is owned by true Italians from New York and well worth not having to go to Raleigh for an Italian meal.

I was skeptical of dining here after reading the reviews but my wife and I decided to give Anthony’s our own rating. I have to say I’m not sure where the other reviewers ate but it obviously wasn’t this place. Our waitress Makenzie was on top of her game and we were given everything we requested immediately and always with a smile. I decided on the lasagna and I couldn’t even finish my plate because of the enormous portion size. My wife opted for the baked zitti and she said it was fabulous and she couldn’t finish her plate either. Even though we were stuffed we just had to try the tall cheesecake and it was so good! The whole experience was well worth the drive from 50 miles away just to eat here. We both agree this restaurant is well worthy of 5 stars and we highly recommend it!

Wow! I am very impressed with this place. Food was fantastic, service great…a little tight for seating but other than that was a wonderful date night with my husband.
We had the Farfalle and Limencello cake…so good!
Took home the calzone for BIL and he was very happy with it.

Very disappointed with my order I picked up Sunday. I have eaten there and ordered carry out several times but this time my meal was really bad. I ordered chicken parm with spaghetti and meat sauce and the spaghetti had no sauce amd what little sauce that was on the chicken was very thick and dry. Granddaughters meal was ok but cold. The quality of their food has seemed to be declining the last couple of visits. I have heard of a couple other italian restaurants near me so I guess I am going to need to try them.

Service has definitely gone downhill. It’s a 50/50 chance you are going to get a salad if you order one, but 100% that it will be on your bill. It’s even less odds that you are going to get bread, even if you ask for it. The stock answer seems to be It’s not ready yet, really who eats Italian food without bread? Very disappointing, we used to enjoy this place.

Just like most pizza joints on a Friday night, busy, busy, busy! Lots of families and a few screaming babies, of course….
The dining room tables reminded me a bit of NY style seating, where your neighbor is close and will want to watch the backup camera when pushing your chair away from the table. The dining room is all hard surfaces, so the sound just bounces around and fells like sitting in a cafeteria or food hall.
When does a salad turn into soup? When you don’t drain the lettuce long enough and the dressing loses its consistency, becoming a soupy mess. Even worse the croutons turn to mush, and I lose interest in finishing my Caesar salad. I am still on fence as to whether the Caesar dressing is house made, either way I think it could use less salt. The plan to skip the salad in the future to avoid further disappointment, seems like a good direction.
The menu is impressive, good variety of Italian entrees. The pizza is definitely a contender for the pizza scene in Clayton, I enjoyed the slight sweet and tangy flavor within what I would consider a full-bodied sauce. Slap that sauce onto a light and fluffy dough, seared a bit at the bottom, topped with fresh mozzarella and were good.
Unfortunately, the deserts are not house made, which is disappointing since I love my dessert, as a result I decided not to gamble on the Cannoli. The staff impressively handle the dining room, even at its busiest times.
Cheers!
