I stopped in here visiting a local campground, it’s only a few minutes off the highway. The initial appearance may throw you off, but it is after all an old school convenience store. It’s not overly big inside, but it has the essentials. But the deli counter is where the magic happens. Not only to they over fresh meats like steaks, and chicken, they offer grinders that seem to be well known. The deli has a steady stream of customers ordering their lunches. I ordered the Italian, the ingredients were fresh, the sandwich was a great size, and it was overall a good sandwich. They offered the basic sandwiches on the menu (Italian, turkey, roast beef, ham, etc) the staff were very nice here too. So if you’re in the area and you’re hungry, the grinders are worth the stop.

Best grinder I’ve had in a long time. I had the ham with lettuce, tomato, provolone, onions, pickles & banana peppers. My husband had the Italian and he loved it.
Service was excellent. We lived every thing.

Cool country store atmosphere with down home fabulous service. The Italian grinder was fabulous with just the right combinations to make a great sandwich. The Hot foods with a spoonful of everything make for a great sampling of the food of the day. It was all delicious.

Friendly staff! FRESH ingredients, with lots of choices made for a great lunch. We had an Italian grinder and chicken salad wrap. Both were great. Gotta get a home made woopie pie too(peanut butter for me) and a Life by Chocolate dessert if available. Also, if you are looking for a place to eat it. There is a nice gazebo behind the ball field back by the Wood River.

Best grinders in the area BY FAR! They have a hot bar with a lot of RI staples. Meat and poultry counter for fresh dinners. They have all types of salads (ham, egg, potato…). Some of the best desserts made in house, too.

Great little hidden away deli with fresh ingredients and great sandwiches. Stopped in here on the way out of town for a road trip and got a small Italian grinder with the works. Pictured here in this review. The bread was freshly baked and the sandwich was stuffed!

My sandwich had more cheese than meat. You can’t charge $13 for a large and then have 1$ of meat. I won’t be back.
Update: I went back again on 7/17. Got a large meatball. Prices are marked behind the deli counter as 12.95. Charged me 14.95. Bread was chewy and hard to bite through/tear. Meatballs were nothing to write home about.
