ABSOLUTELY the best Korean restaurant in town! They have all the best dishes. My favorite is the JapChae & BimBimBop. This time I got the JapChae and they gave me some of the pear juice that is also my favorite. I’m excited to try the fried chicken next time!

This is hands down the best restaurant in Lawrence!
I’m so grateful that Café The Mani is here. The food is absolutely amazing—I could eat here every day and never get tired of it. If I could give 100 stars, I would!
My kids love everything on the menu, and my friends often celebrate their birthdays here. The food is always delicious, the staff are super friendly, and the place is clean and modern. It’s truly a wonderful atmosphere.
Some of my favorites are the tteokbokki, bibimbap, spicy pork, strawberry bingsu, galbi, and of course, the crispy fried chicken—so good!
If you haven’t visited yet, don’t wait. Come and experience the incredible flavors for yourself. Highly recommended!

For me, Cafe the Mani is the best restaurant in Lawrence. I have tried every menu on this restaurant and everything was great. Not only it was delicious, some foods were really big that was enough for 2 people to eat one food. Especially, the fried chicken, Bibimbap, Sweet and sour pork, and Gimbap was literally amazing. Also, I love to have Bing-su for the dessert. It was always perfect to finish my meal. If someone is finding for an Asian restaurant or something special, I will highly recommend Cafe the Mani.

This is my go-to place when I want to eat healthy, delicious food in Lawrence. The restaurant is very clean, and the food is amazing. Everything tastes like authentic Korean cuisine! I highly recommend the seafood red noodles (jjambbong), sweet and sour pork, and tteokbokki. The combination of sweet and spicy is unstoppable 😉

We had dined in this place many times, one of my good friend introduced this place to us and we have been a regular since then. We love their authentic Korean cuisine within an affordable price range. Our favorite is Jja-hang, chicken wings, Don-Kka-Su and Tteok-Bokki.

My absolute favourite place for fried chicken and BBQ. If you think you have had good fried chicken before trying Cafe the Mani’s chicken, you will genuinely change your mind. Probably their most regular customer at this point. Excellent service and the owners are really sweet.

A new summer menu has been added at Cafe the Mani! My family and I are regulars there and we were thrilled to check out the new items when we brought some family and friends from Iowa. Aside from their delicious authentic Korean dishes, they’re now serving Bingsoo (shaved ice) for the season. We ordered both red bean and strawberry Bingsoo. The kids loved the strawberry ones, and my friends and I (all from Korea) preferred the red beans. Honestly, everyone should try both. We also had their amazing fried chicken, as usual. The Bingsoo is big enough for 2-3 people to share, and they provided small cups for us. I highly recommend trying the new summer menu, and my friends from Iowa were so envious that we have an authentic Korean restaurant in town.

There is convenient 2 hour free parking lot nearby. Walked past it the first time. Had lunch for 2. Went with the usually safe items, kalbi, and spicy pork. These were both excellent.
2 things were a bit off. Really minor so just 1 star off. Fork instead of spoon and one of the sides was a potato salad/mashed potato thing served like an ice cream scoop. Nothing either of us ever saw in South Korea. I would have much preferred just about any of the traditional side dishes.

I loved my order, JJA-Jang, and meat dumplings.
My husband wasn’t as impressed with his Bi-Bim-Bap with beef. Thought there wasn’t enough flavor and too much lettuce. But I tried it and thought it was good.
Service was good, atmosphere was a little lacking luster.
Over great experience though.

Beautiful interior and delicious food. My boyfriend and I raved about how good the food was all day. All though this place is self serve, I would describe it more like a restaurant in terms of wait time and price. Wait time is about 20 minutes for food. Large portions and they cost about 13-16 per person.
