I had an amazing experience at E T T O R E at The Grove. I am not very familiar with the area, but we walked through the Original Farmers Market to get there and it was well worth it. The ambiance was excellent and warm with a very comforting, homely feel.

The wine selection was absolutely superb and the Cabernet is a must try. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and watching prosciutto being carved right in front of us was such a nice touch. The charcuterie boards were fabulous, especially the cheese that had pistachios in it which was hands down my favorite. The pasta dishes were rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked, and one of the salads with fennel was fresh and delicious.

We were a large group of about ten to fifteen girls celebrating my friend Taryn birthday, and Vincent took amazing care of us. His service was attentive, kind, and made the night even more special. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My friends and I decided to try Ettore for dinner last night. They made a really lovely atmosphere to dine in and the service was great. It’s a newer spot so it wasn’t super busy yet we had the focaccia an prosciutto they hand slice which melted like butter in my mouth. We also had the Caesar with grilled chicken, and the caprese to start. Caesar was lovely as was the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes in the caprese. For our mains we had the tagliatelle bolognese and my friend got the spaghetti alla nerano which is a fresh pasta with shaved zucchini. All the flavors were amazing. Their own wine was nice as well as we had a bottle of the Cabernet from their vineyard.

Me and my friends were visiting the Grove Mall and decided to give this place a try. Everything was really top notch from start to finish.

We began by ordering the frittura mista which consisted of fried shrimp, calamari and vegetables. The shrimp was excellent. Very high quality.

For an entrèe, I ordered the Duck. I really enjoyed it. The noodles were al dente and the duck was ground. The sauce had a bit of a wine flavor as well. It was just a well put together dish

For dessert, I got the tiramisu and it was a delight. It was soft and sweet.

Our server, Nick, was great. He was very friendly and personable.

The atmosphere was elegant but not over the top.

Overall, this place is a good option if you are visiting the Grove and looking for good food.

Happened upon the cutest, most delicious authentic Italian restaurant at the Grove in the Farmers Market. Not just a stall but a beautiful full restaurant with an amazing wine selection, amazing food and wonderful staff!!
Who would have known this great spot is such a charming corner stone to the Farmers Market.

Def worth checking out, and once you’re there you’ll be back again and again!

Greeting and seated right away with no wait for table. The host was very kind and helpful placing us in an area with a nice summer breeze flowing through the room. After selecting our wine choices, we enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board and fresh Gorgonzola, walnut and pear salads. Such a wonderful experience and certainly on my list to return in the near future. Patio area looked very cozy. Pleasant atmosphere with nice music to accompany the mood and made for a nice lunch. As a note: Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3-6pm. Great place for chilling out and winding down for the evening.

I was just there for Valentine’s Day with my spouse (who can be kind of intense if things don’t go well), and the restaurant’s kitchen was sort of struggling to keep up with the busy night. However, the servers were GREAT and they & the management really tried to keep us happy when the food ran really late—they comped us a good portion of our check and gave us a bottle of their delightful wine on the house, as well as providing bread and prosciutto to tide us over. Running a small business is hard and a young restaurant even harder but I really appreciated that they saw they weren’t hitting their marks and did their best to make it right. Would definitely recommend. Also…the tagliatelle with truffle is out of this world delicious!

The place I go to when I feel homesick. Great Italian food, impeccable atmosphere and extremely good and friendly service. Focaccia and freshly sliced prosciutto are to die for, as the pasta ragout: the best in LA.
Panna cotta and tiramisu are a real deal here: amazing. Wine from Sonoma is great too, the red is superb! Definitely a must try.

Stopped by at dinner time early in the week. Restaurant was not busy, and the manager interrupted her conversation to seat us (appreciated). The service was friendly and attentive and the food and wine were both great. It was good value, particularly during happy hour when we visited. I would return.

Ettore is truly a fantastic Italian restaurant that I can’t recommend highly enough. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s clear that the owner is incredibly friendly and passionate, and that positive energy radiates throughout the entire establishment.
The staff are equally wonderful, attentive, and efficient, making sure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. And of course, the food is absolutely delicious!
If you’re looking for a place with great food, a cozy ambiance, and genuinely lovely people, Ettore is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed!

Wow the farmers market just added an incredible spot! I love to come here to walk around, see a movie at the grove and have dinner for a date. I don’t care for the food at any of the restaurants but NOW I do! This is perfect for a lunch date with friends or a romantic dinner before a movie. The food is fine dinning and the wine is divine. Highly recommend! This place has a beautiful atmosphere too. It is very rustic and elegant. I ate the tagliatelle which was delicious. It had a perfect blend of flavors. It is unique and a must try. I also had the ravioli with wild boar. Also so so good with High quality ravioli and meat. The salad Arancia e Quinoa was super light, fresh and full of flavor. Lastly, the chicken was also yummy. It is smaller in portion with perfectly roasted carrots. I could eat any of these dishes many times. If you like dessert, try the panne cotta and the torta caprese, I recommend both.
