Came across this place on the Eat Club app and decided to give it a go. The atmosphere and service were great however, I think the food was average with the price you pay per dish compared to other Italian restaurants. We ordered a pasta and a pizza. The pasta was ok, found the sauce a bit oily at the end. The good side was the pasta was cooked al dente which was a plus for me.

Decided on Italian for dinner last minute with the missus. We randomly chose here as we were close by and found the staff and food fantastic. We didn’t book a table however managed to get one without a wait. It was a little noisy but that was just because of a birthday party happening at the next table, even then it was still easy enough to talk. Nice interior and atmosphere, really friendly staff who even offered to take our picture for us when they saw the missus struggling with a selfie. Would definitely return to try something else on the menu.

Came here for dinner with my partner to celebrate a special occasion. It was a quiet evening, perhaps only 7-8 tables. Despite this, the food took a long time to come out and there were many delivery drivers hanging around to collect orders.
Once the food came it was nothing special, although the portion sizes were reasonable. I ordered lamb cutlets which were meant to be medium, but some were cooked through. At that point I was too hungry and had no heart to send it back to the kitchen and wait god knows how long for a new one.

La Regina Restaurant in Coorparoo is consistently one of the worst places for order preparation time. Almost every pickup takes far longer than it should, even when the restaurant has no customers and is completely quiet. The staff are extremely slow, and the orders are never ready anywhere near the expected pickup time. This causes unnecessary delays for drivers and poor service for customers. Their time management needs serious improvement

This Italian restaurant is a very welcomed new addition to Coorparoo Square, filling the spot left behind by the previous Degani coffee shop. We started our dinner with red wine by glass while waiting for our dishes. It was good to know that the restaurant allows taking away if we ordered a bottle of wine and could not finish it in the restaurant. We started the dinner with wine by glass so that we can try different wines. Fresh fruity acidic Pinot Noir, and traditional bold rounded Chianti that has aroma of dark berries with medium acidity. The Chianti would please Cab Sauv lovers. We are lamb lovers so Lamb Rack was our first Main item ordered, and it was surprisingly delicious. The meat was soft, juicy, done just right, served with the Caponata mix of stir fried hash vegi with olive seasoning which added a lot more flavours to the lamb. However one of the racks had a big piece of chewy fat that we didn’t want to swallow. The Quottro pizza was soft with crispy crust, seasoned nicely with olive oil. I’m usually not a big fan of walnuts but it mixed in the pizza very well. The Quattro would have been perfect if the salty part of cheese could be less dominant. But we finished it quickly without any left-over so it was definitely good. The Chocolate gelato wasn’t the best in the world but it was smooth with balanced flavours. It came with two scoops, perhaps next time I could ask for a mix of both Choco and Vanilla. It was our first time trying Churros. Deep fried crispy crust wrapping around the soft dough, lightly dressed with white sugar, and served with choco dips. We couldn’t finish it but have decided to take it home including the choco dips. I’m happy to find the desserts were not too sweet like most of the other Australian desserts. Very attentive and friendly staff. We also made lunch booking on the spot to introduce this restaurant to a foodie friend. The outdoor seats should be pretty nice during daytime.

We visited this place yesterday, we loved both the four cheese pizza and the cannelloni. We didn’t like the soft drinks are sold by the glass and you cannot see what they put in. Usually restaurants will bring the bottle or can. I would recommend to change this practise.
