We stopped in Luca’s for the first time in Sellbeville. The place is small and clean, and they have several tables for guests to eat inside if needed. We grabbed a veggie pizza extra large.
The pizza had mozzarella ,garlic spinach, mushrooms, marinated artichoke hearts, roasted sweet peppers, and red onions.
The pizza was delicious! It was cooked just right and had a ton of flavor.
Can’t wait to try some other things next time we visit.
A must try if you are close.

Very good crust – the true star of this pie. Cold fermented, it’s chewy and foldable with a crisp bottom. The sauce comes in close to that as well. Less sweet than NY style. 7.9 pizza will come back.
Word to the wise they sell out on the weekend so we came back midweek.

I was in the area yesterday and stopped and got meatballs and a pepperoni and hot honey slice. The meatballs are amazing as always and the slice was crispy and delicious. Will be back soon for a full pie and the cheesesteak.

The pizza is amazing. Everything is so fresh and delicious!! They are making their pizza dough in the house therefore the pizzas are limited. Definitely call ahead.
The owners are super nice and the staff is very friendly.
The salad dressing is so TASTY! We’ll be back soon!

Excellent addition to the neighborhood! Glad to finally have really good pizza near Bayside. The crust is delicious, although there was a bit too much flop. Next time I might order it well done to add extra char and firmness. The ingredients smelled and tasted incredibly fresh. The salads were great too! Highly recommend!

Went to Luca’s today for the first time. We had the White Veggie Pizza & the Margarita. One was better than the other. The sauce was perfect as well as the crust. All the vegetables on the pizza were fresh. It is evident that the owners take great pride in the product they put out. Cannot wait to try the sandwiches and salads. Picture below is of the Calzone I brought home for my daughter. Best of luck!

The margarita pizza was great, not the best I’ve had but a great contender for first place. The crust was perfect, sauce was sweet and savory, the mozz was good, and overall a great pie. I had no problem paying what I paid for the pie. The fries were good and very familiar to peak McDonald’s fries. Service was good and the atmosphere is good as well. I will definitely come back if I’m in the area and craving pizza.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Luca’s opened this evening and my wife and I were excited to give them a try, and we’re glad we did!
I had the Farm Market Salad which includes Greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and marinated artichoke hearts with a citrus vinaigrette they provide on the side. Everything was fresh, crisp and flavorful. The citrus vinaigrette added just the right amount of tang to the salad. Great portion size too! I highly recommend.
My wife had the Cobb Salad without onion. It included chopped romaine hearts, apple smoked bacon, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, hard cooked eggs, blackened chicken breast and blue cheese crumbles with a balsamic vinaigrette served in the side. She was equally impressed with her meal!
Can’t wait to try their pizza this weekend!
