They’re running a special on Fridays for prime rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We also got the seafood platter. Big shrimp and they only use the tenderloin of the catfish and everything was fried perfectly. But the prime rib stole the show. It was the best I’ve had in a while. You could cut it with a fork

As my third time in LA, I brought a new friend to NOLA and this is the spot to have anyone try their authentic Louisiana food experience! He tried the red bean gumbo and was blown away. This is good ol’ fashion authentic Louisiana food! Sorry for not having a picture of the food, he devoured it too quick!

I was fortunate enough to be thrown an engagement party here last weekend. I had never visited before, but this place far and away surpassed our expectations! My friends, family, fiancé and myself had an absolute blast. The food was incredible, the drinks were flowing, and the staff was so kind. 11/10 recommend!

This is a cool place! I love the decor and the feel of the place. But the food is what we came here for and they did not disappoint. For appetizers: the “Smoked Wings” were boring to look at but incredible to taste, the “Crawfish Bread” is a must try, and the “Bacon wrapped Shrimp” just had to be amazing because my wife eat them all! The fish of the day was “Blackened Redfish with Crawfish cream sauce, vegetables, and creamy mash potatoes. It was delicious. All of it. Their “Shrimp Poboy” was a hit, too. The mac and cheese needed a little more flavor, so hot sauce did the trick. Give them a try.

The biscuits don’t look like much in the pictures, but they are jalapeno biscuits with seasoned butter. The flavor was amazing. The mixed BBQ consisted of pulled pork, hot sausage and brisket so tender you could cut it with a fork. Very tasty. For dessert I got the chocolate chip milk cake. It was a good cake, but I had never had milk cake before and I think it just may not be my thing. The flavor was good, it’s a very moist cake.
The pricing was reasonable around 60$ for 2. Staff were prompt and very nice. There is a back patio area that had live music that night and 2 old Fords out back, looked like maybe model T and or model A. Casual feel, overall well worth a visit.

The wheelchair ramp entrance is around the back.
The atmosphere is very chill and the servers very helpful. The portions are very generous. A side order of mac n cheese was entre-sized. The BBQ platter could easily be split by two or even three people.
They gladly made me a custom mocktail to avoid allergens.
The food was absolutely delicious. Very well spiced. Nicely balanced flavors.

I had the blackened shrimp poboy. It was not very flavorful. My wife had the chopped brisket sandwich. She didn’t care for it. The service was extremely slow. I had to ask for refills and wait a long time before they came. The server tried her best, but fell short. The interior decor was well done, making for a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is not centrally located. I’m not sure that there’ll be a return visit.

Time between arriving and leaving was an hour and 45 minutes. We received our $11 “biscuits” and gravy (one biscuit cut in half) 45 minutes in. Received our entrees 20 minutes later. We were 1 of 4 tables at the time of arrival. Food was nothing special. The sausage patties were 100% the frozen ones you buy at the store. Not at all worth the price or wait. This was our first and last visit.
The waitress explained that the system they use is not good and the provider never comes to service the system. Due to the poor system, even though our orders were taken and entered first, the latest visitors were receiving their food before us. She gave us our $4 waffle for free, due to the long wait. This arrived last (about and hour and 15 minutes after arriving).

An amazing experience! Place is full of interesting artifacts and artwork. Plenty of room for family gatherings. Loads of parking. Very clean bathrooms! Menu has many options and the prices are fair. I had the pork belly tacos. Came out fast and were delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. I think everyone was using my name by the time I left! I recommend this place to anyone.

Very laid back, not a place to grab a quick bite. Over an hour to order and get food, but the food was very good. All 3 of our dishes and appetizer tasted like they were actually cooked in the kitchen, not prepared meals from sysco that have taken over the restaurant industry in America.
Even if it takes longer, I prefer a fresh cooked meal like this place serves.
