Gluten Freedom Adventures
What a great place! We were passing through (truth, we took a detour intentionally to visit Mami Mía) and it did not dissappoint.
We got a few different baked items to try, as well as two Americanos to-go.
Staff was exceptionally friendly, even those who we walked past made eye contact and said hello or thanks for visiting. Hailey at the cash was an absolute treasure, engaged and cheerful as we debated our selections.
(I have celiac disease so deciding what to order was a challenge because I literally wanted to try one of each! )
Every item we got was delicious. My husband, who eats gluten, wholeheartedly agrees. His favourites were the carrot cupcake and the pecan bar. I really loved the cinnamon roll and the oreo cheesecake… and I still have a cherry hand pie and a peanut butter cookies waiting to be eaten as we get a little further up the road!
Mami Mía has a great atmosphere and the breakfast/lunch food that I saw looked amazing. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.

What a great quaint eatery!! You would never know ( unless you need to) that the entire menu issue gluten free. From delicious pasta and hamburgers to decadent deserts!! We had the mami mia Alfredo pasta with chicken and bacon cheese burger for dinner and whoopie pie and frosted cinnamon roll for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was fantastic. We met the manager who was the sweetest. We will definitely be back soon! Need some of the guava goodies they have occasionally!

Very friendly staff and quick seating during our outing. Everything is gluten free on the menu and at the bakery! We ordered a build your own omlet and it was absolutely delicious! So fresh, flavorful, and fluffy! The fresh bread that was served with it was also delicious! The waffle was so fluffy on the inside with a bit of crisp on the edges! So tasty that it melted in your mouth! Would definitely come back here!

Finally an all gluten free option! My husband and I went for the first time this morning for my birthday/Valentine’s Day. I really wanted to cinnamon roll. We were so impressed with the quality of their food, the portions, and the prices. They also surprise me with a little birthday celebration, which was so sweet. Can’t wait to come back to try dinner. I really hope they’re here for the long run.

This place was a pleasant surprise! I initially thought it was just a bakery, but they also offer really nice entrées. We started with carpaccio, had lamb chops and gnocchi topped with steak for dinner, and finished with a slice of carrot cake—everything was delicious. The bakery selection is great as well, and we even spotted empanadas. It feels like a lovely addition to the neighborhood. We originally stopped by because the manager is also a henna tattoo artist and we had booked a henna appointment here, but we ended up enjoying a full dinner too. Such a fun and unique experience!

I want to start off by saying that I’m glad a restaurant is offering gluten free options for those that need them.
But the food: not good, even inedible. I ordered the BYO omelette, and the eggs were rubbery to the point you couldn’t eat them, and had to leave half of it to waste. The eggs were unseasoned, potatoes unseasoned, just all in all, bad food. The toast was so burnt I couldn’t really eat it, it was dry. Overall, some of the worst gf food I’ve eaten.
The cherry on top was the service though. Initially, we were greeted at the front, then went outside, waited over 15 minutes, and no one came to us, had a server look in our direction multiple times, and not come to ask for our order. I gave my criticism, and then was asked if I wanted a box in a sarcastic tone.
Decor however was gorgeous in there, and I hope they can change things, because it was just unacceptable overall.

I highly recommend the carrot cake cupcake. It was full of spices, real carrots and topped with a mound of cream cheese frosting – heavenly!!! I thought the pecan var was just okay. I liked the whole pecans, but the consistency was a little too wet / oily for me. I’ll definitely be back to try more goodies! The location is great and easy to access from alt-19.

Amazing little spot for a light lunch. From the outside it gave off quaint and cozy diner vibes. Inside you’ll see cases of mouthwatering cakes, pies, muffins, bars, and more! We intended to eat a meal, but after seeing the dessert offerings we decided to share 2 appetizers and 2 desserts! We opted for the Grilled Adobado Shrimp served with fresh Guacamole and the Mami Mia Bruschetta made with gluten free bread, goat cheese, micro greens, tomatoes, basil, and red onion.
Then for dessert we chose the Key Lime Pie and the Pistachio Cupcake with Raspberry Frosting. D.I.V.I.N.E. The flavors were incredible, balanced, and not overpowered by sugar. Amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

This place is so cute! It looks like if it was a RomCom and the heroine moved to a small town to fulfill her dream of opening a bakery to share her love of gluten free baking- this would be the location
Enjoyed the breakfast and all the baked good looked awesome

This is a 100% Gluten-free restaurant and bakery! The food and desserts were really good. The homemade buns were probably the best I’ve tasted – light, airy, moist and didn’t fall apart. I highly recommend this place whether or not your gluten-free as the food was amazing and you would never know it was gluten-free. Ask for Gianna – she was our server and was super sweet!
