Had early lunch of Patty melt on sourdough toast and side salad restaurant was very quiet with classic rock playing in the background at low volume which was very nice Nice relaxing lunch service was good and friendly prices were fair

I paid $48 for terrible service and the chicken tenders only 4 baby ones that look like they came from a quail. The tea tasted like it was made yesterday …. Maybe you all need to not serve food if this is the type of stuff your serving to the public!! Don’t worry I’ll never come back.

I was not impressed when I went here. I went on a Saturday night to eat dinner and got charged a cover charge even though there was not a band playing there that night. The tea was sour and spoiled. The food was decent, but I’m not a huge bar person, and that is the atmosphere. It’s no longer the enjoyable restaurant I used to go to. Now it’s all about the alcohol sales. Or it seems to be anyways. So sad.

I frequented this college bar while I was an undergraduate bio student at Georgia Southern University. Nostalgic and fun memories going there many a times including going next door to Shenanigans to the dance floor. 5 out of 5 perfect atmosphere to meet people, lounge, flirt, etc.

The extra plate we got to share our food stuck to the bar! There were many servers all sitting around and even one gent giving his whole week’s rundown of this shifts. Very unprofessional. The chicken strips were excellent but the wings were over cooked and tasted like they had been “cooked” multiple times. Fries were underdone so the food runs the gamut in quality and freshness.

I went here with a friend. He put his order in and then paid and left because he had other plans. He waited 30 minutes and they didn’t bring his food out. The waitress just gave us our apps and drinks and then never came back to give us anything else. Would not recommend. Plus parking is horrible.

Visiting GSU and I haven’t been to Dingus McGees in a long time. It smelled really good as we drove up. Got our IDs checked at the door and sat down to eat. It took a few minutes for our waiter to show up. Turned out he was standing less than 10 feet from our table where staff congregate at a register and drink machines. He took our drink order. After returning with our drinks, he finally took our order. It was a little loud so there was a little difficulty in communicating. After waiting a reasonable time out food was brought out. The food was great, but sadly the service was lacking. Waiter came back once but didn’t ask about our drinks. After finishing he took my plate but never asked about our drinks. Seemed he was more concerned about other things. As we were all finished and super thirsty, I asked for our ticket and he then asked if i wanted another drink. At this point it, I’d rather not keep waiting on service. I’m probably a little old school and expect more from wait staff. Great staff asks and takes care of customers needs. Mediocre staff just shows up and covers the minimum.
